Deloitte’s Cyber Security practice advises organizations across a wide range of industries on how to effectively reduce vulnerabilities, mitigate cyber risks, and make informed decisions as they strengthen their security posture in an increasingly complex threat landscape.

Our IAM offering helps clients design, implement, and operate secure identity and access management solutions, leveraging modern technologies to meet evolving access management needs while balancing security, usability, and scalability.
What will your typical day look like?
- Work with client stakeholders to assess, design, and implement sustainable identity solutions using Microsoft Entra ID, including operating processes and governance models to address evolving risks across access management, identity governance, and privileged access.
- Lead and contribute to implementation and advisory engagements focused on Microsoft Entra capabilities, including Conditional Access, application integrations, SAML/OIDC-based SSO, identity lifecycle management, and Privileged Identity Management (PIM).
- Configure and optimize secure access controls such as MFA, risk-based policies, and Zero Trust-aligned Conditional Access policies to enhance client security posture.
- Assess existing identity processes, access controls, and governance frameworks through workshops and stakeholder interviews; develop gap analyses and recommend prioritized improvements aligned to Entra best practices.
- Support implementation of application onboarding and integration into Entra, including enterprise applications, app registrations, and federation with external identity providers.
- Contribute to identity governance initiatives, including access reviews, entitlement management, and automation of joiner-mover-leaver processes.
- Support responses to Request-for-Proposals (RFPs) and business development activities for clients seeking to enhance their enterprise IAM capabilities using Microsoft Entra.
- Demonstrate strong project management skills by planning engagement activities, managing risks, and delivering high-quality outcomes; foster collaboration and accountability across project teams while leveraging Deloitte tools, accelerators, and methodologies.
Enough about us, let’s talk about you
Must-have qualifications:
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Identity & Access Management, with a strong focus on Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
• Deep subject matter expertise across core Entra capabilities, including:
o Conditional Access and Zero Trust policy design and implementation
o Application registration and enterprise application management
o Single Sign-On and Federation (SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect)
o Identity governance capabilities (e.g., access reviews, lifecycle workflows)
o Privileged Identity Management (PIM) for Azure resources and identities
• Proven experience designing and implementing secure identity architectures in cloud and hybrid environments
• Strong working knowledge of authentication and authorization protocols: OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and SAML
• Hands-on experience integrating applications with Entra ID, including SSO, federation, and provisioning (SCIM where applicable)
• Knowledge of automation and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Graph API) for Entra administration and reporting
• Ability to translate business and security requirements into scalable identity solutions and roadmaps
• Experience leading technical workstreams, mentoring junior team members, and engaging directly with clients
• Strong understanding of identity security best practices, including MFA, least privilege access, and identity protection
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in consulting or client-facing environments
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
Nice to have:
• Familiarity with Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS), including user, group and Organizational Unit (OU) design, Group Policy Objects (GPO) design, domain and forest trust management, LDAP/Kerberos/Integrated Windows authentication.
• Experience with Entra External Identities / Azure AD B2C or customer identity solutions Familiarity with Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) tools such as SailPoint or Saviynt
• Experience with Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions (e.g., CyberArk/Idira) and integration with Entra
• Exposure to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code in identity deployments
• Understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks (e.g., SOX, GDPR, NIST, Zero Trust architecture)
• Relevant certifications such as:
o Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator (SC-300)
o Microsoft Certified: Cybersecurity Architect (SC-100)
Total Rewards
The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $138,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
