What will your typical day look like?

As a Security Technologies Analyst, you will be a key player and part of a team providing world-class security operations capabilities for our clients. You will develop your career in supporting, maintaining, and providing sought-after expertise on industry leading network security platforms used to secure and protect our client’s digital assets. Focus on skills development and learning are essential in this role which help you deliver industry leading insight and expertise our clients are seeking. Our clients will leverage your innovation and creativity to help in problem solving and improving service delivery operations. 

You will work with a team of 10 in a multi-client environment supporting multiple endpoint solutions. Day to day activities include performing regular health checks and maintenance, troubleshooting a wide range of issues which can arise. In addition, our team is responsible for routine changes, such as upgrades, performance enhancements and security advisory. You will work closely with both external clients and internal support teams to support their business.

As cyber threats evolve and become more complex, many business leaders recognize they can’t
manage the challenge alone. That’s why Deloitte offers a global network of Cyber Intelligence Centres
(CICs), operating around the clock, 365 days of the year. Our team provides fully customizable managed security solutions, including advanced security event monitoring, network security controls management, threat analytics, cyber threat management, and incident response, for local businesses to meet the increasing market demand in cybersecurity services. The team is made up of a group of highly technical individuals with strong communication, problem solving skills and a drive for client service delivery. All CIC teams collaborate in order to deliver a world class security operations service with focus on client delivery. Team members can work in a fast-paced, agile environment to meet business velocity.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

You are someone who has: / You are someone with:

•    Strong analytical, resourceful problem solving and troubleshooting experience with production infrastructure environments
•    Ability to obtain secret government clearance; please review the Government of Canada website to ensure you meet the eligibility requirements
•    Knowledge of network operations including security controls 
•    Strong understanding of Cloud environments
•    Working knowledge in incident and problem management
•    Strong communication and ability to communicate with technical or non-technical leadership
•    Client service-oriented mindset
•    Hands on experience in administering in at least 1 of the following technologies:
   o    Endpoint Protection (e.g. Crowdstrike, McAfee ePO, Trend DDI, Carbon Black, Bit9, etc.)
   o    Email Security (e.g. Cisco CES, ProofPoint)
   o    Web Proxies (e.g. BlueCoat, Zscaler)
   o    Cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP)
  •    Nice to have experience with the following software/vendors: 
   o    Forcepoint
   o    Cyberark
   o    Vectra
