Overview:

Deloitte is looking for Network Security Consultant(s)/Senior Consultant(s) to join our Cyber Intelligence Centre.

The Consultants are responsible for steady-state operations of security platforms including firewalls, email, proxy, and endpoint. 

The Senior Consultants are responsible for leading projects, including: evaluating , architecting, and implementing new opportunities. They are also the escalation point of contact for complex and high impact incidents. A successful Senior Consultant oversees market trends, proposes cost effective solutions, understands client needs, and guides other team members to grow. They are also responsible to grow client relationships. 

Responsibilities:
Consultants

  • Perform changes, troubleshoot incidents, complete service requests

Senior Consultants

  • Propose new solutions using cost-effective analysis reports
  • From current solutions
  • New solution opportunities
  • Understand client’s needs
  • Improve current solutions
  • Network Access Control subject matter expert
  • Point of escalation for Security Solutions Specialists
  • Advanced incident response
  • Provide valuable insights to support security investigations from managed solutions
  • Analytical thinking of the incident, information gathered, full impacts, next steps
  • Explain the behaviours of managed solutions
  • Remediate and long-term solution
  • Maintain and expand the relationship with clients
  • Mentor Consultants

External Posting Qualifications

Requirements:

  • 3+ years for Consultants and 10+ years of experience for Senior Consultants in Network Security
  • Experience and working knowledge of the following platforms – bonus:
    • Endpoint Protection (e.g. McAfee ePO, Trend DDI, Carbon Black, Bit9, etc.)
    • Firewalls (e.g. Cisco ASA, Check Point, Palo Alto, Juniper)
    • Network IDS/IPS (e.g. Cisco FirePOWER, SourceFire, Snort, McAfee NSP)
    • Email Security (e.g. Cisco CES, ProofPoint)
    • Web Proxies (e.g. BlueCoat, Zscaler)
    • Load Balancers (e.g. NetScaler, F5)
    • Routers and switches (e.g. Cisco, Juniper)
    • Cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP)
