Deloitte is looking for a Solutions Engineer to join our Cyber Intelligence Centre in Vaughan. Read more below!

What will your typical day look like?

Reporting to the Infrastructure Engineering and Architecture Manager, this Solutions Engineer will be a great solution designer and highly motivated, focused on creating innovative business and technology solutions. The Solutions Engineer with then work with various SOC Teams  from infrastructure engineers, support and security operations to ensure a plan is in motion to improve the customer's experience. The Solutions Engineer works to balance various aspects of projects including risk and design. Additionally, the Solutions Engineer researches advanced technology regarding best practices in the field and seek to find cost-effective solutions.

You will have an amazing team, which is composed of well-experienced and enthusiastic cybersecurity professionals that are passionate on what they do. We provide world-class security operations capabilities for our clients which is aligned with our strategic direction and helps the firm better deliver on new and existing engagements.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

You are someone who has:

  • A Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in a relevant area of study with a preference for Computer Science or Computer Engineering
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of professional work experience in a software related field. Experience in automation engineering or solutions engineering is an asset.
  • Experience working as part of a team in a fast paced Agile development environment
  • Experience with Git, database SQL (MS SQL), programming such as JavaScript, PHP, Python, Docker and general understanding of web development.
  • Experience with log aggregation, processing, and visualization systems such as the ELK, and Splunk
  • Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management.
  • Ability to learn quickly and effectively
  • Proven analytical, resourceful problem solving and troubleshooting experience with production infrastructure environments
