We are looking for sharp minds to join our growing Economic Advisory team, offering you the opportunity to apply economic theory and quantitative analysis in strategic advisory for our clients.

Our team provides a range of Economic Advisory services to public, private and non-profit organizations. We are part of an extensive worldwide network with deep expertise in:

  • Economic development strategy
  • Economic impact analysis
  • Cost-benefit analysis
  • Labour market analysis
  • Competition and business economics
  • Macro-economic forecasting, and
  • Policy advisory

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Drive growth of the Deloitte Economics practice by leading business development and client engagement activities
  • Lead the execution of economic advisory engagements by managing delivery teams to conduct research, quantitative analysis, modelling, report writing, and presentations to clients
  • Interact with clients at all levels, including leading interviews, delivering executive presentations, facilitating workshops, and conducting surveys
  • Lead the creation of proposals and presentations to prospective clients
  • Support the economic advisory practice by contributing to intellectual capital development and thought leadership
  • Contribute to the selection and hiring of top talent across the country in key markets
External Posting Qualifications

The successful candidate should possess:

  • A minimum of 10 years of increasingly responsible experience, including, but not limited to, professional services, banking, national or provincial trade association, government or other related sector/role
  • Management and leadership experience is required
  • Outstanding analytical, writing and communication capabilities are required
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to work with others
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment under tight timelines, with an attention to detail
  • Master’s degree in an economics related field
