Role and Responsibilities:
  • Collaboratively working closely with business product owners, business analysts, developers and testers to ensure the solution is built in accordance to defined requirements
  • Ensuring that all deliverables are delivered on time to and to a high quality
  • Identifying, capturing, resolving or escalating risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies
  • Working effectively as a team member sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication, and updating senior team members on progress
  • Prioritizing objectives and contributing to project planning and status reporting
  • Developing and maintaining productive working relationships with client personnel
  • Building strong internal relationships within our consulting practice and across other services
  • Contributing to knowledge management within our Technology Consulting practice
  • Supervising junior staff and managing parts of client engagements
  • Experience and familiarity working in scrum and agile delivery for large Guidewire transformation programs
  • Work in a collaborative team analyzing client issues and interviewing key personnel
  • Assist with the development of recommendations and presentations for client engagements
  • Participate in client presentations
  • Identify issues, define symptoms and recommend solutions

Position/Program Requirements:

  • Minimum Years of Experience: 3
  • Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's degree
  • Certification(s) Preferred: Guidewire functional certified in PolicyCenter, BillingCenter and /or ClaimCenter, Agile Certification


  • Demonstrates high level of comfort in all phases of the SDLC by delivering test strategy and planning, and execution. Candidate should demonstrate fast learning and understanding of Guidewire application and its functionalities.
  • Demonstrate the ability to:
  • Leverage your understanding of QA methodologies and best practices to design, build and execute unit, functional and integration test cases
  • Guide, define, document, present and manage quality assurance and test plans
  • Work closely with software developers and systems engineers to perform all levels of testing, as well as be an integral part of solving complex system level challenges
  • Write, implement, analyze and report test status for projects
  • Keep abreast of current and new technologies and tools related to your field

Skills Preferred:

  • Past success in quantitative and qualitative analysis of test results, defect resolution trends and application readiness, for executive level reports and presentations.
  • Ability to triage defects efficiently and accurately
  • Familiarity with test executions and defect management through JIRA or other agile toolsets
  • Experience in the use of automated test tools on one or more platforms (Mercury, Rational) are a bonus
  • Experience with various testing methods including manual & automated testing, black, grey and white box testing
  • Hands-on experience in various phases of testing
