Role and Responsibilities:

 

We are currently looking for qualified professionals with knowledge in the Insurance industry that has delivery and transformation experience in Guidewire ClaimCenter to join our Technology consulting practice. We work with a diverse group of clients around the world to help them to create competitive advantages, build innovative technology solutions and drive business outcomes for our clients.   • Collaboratively working closely with business product owners, business analysts, developers and testers to ensure the solution is built in accordance to defined requirements
  • Ensuring that all deliverables are delivered on time to and to a high quality
  • Identifying, capturing, resolving or escalating risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies
  • Working effectively as a team member sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication, and updating senior team members on progress
  • Prioritizing objectives and contributing to project planning and status reporting
  • Developing and maintaining productive working relationships with client personnel
  • Building strong internal relationships within our consulting practice and across other services
  • Contributing to knowledge management within our Technology Consulting practice
  • Supervising junior staff and managing parts of client engagements
  • Experience and familiarity working in scrum and agile delivery for large Guidewire transformation programs
  • Work in a collaborative team analyzing client issues and interviewing key personnel
  • Assist with the development of recommendations and presentations for client engagements
  • Participate in client presentations
  • Identify issues, define symptoms and recommend solutions

Posting Qualifications

 

Position / Program Requirements:

 

  •   Minimum Years of Experience: 3
  •   Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's degree
  •   Certification(s) Preferred: Guidewire functional certified in PolicyCenter, BillingCenter and /or ClaimCenter, Agile Certification

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Defining business problems and outlining possible solutions
  • Facilitating client workshops to gather requirements and translating them into actionable / deliverable story cards
  • Gathering, defining, and organizing business and functional requirements including acceptance criteria for use by developers to implement a functionality
  • Assisting in prioritization of tasks and planning iterations
  • Providing system functionality delivery on business functionalities
  • Reporting statuses and resolving promptly issues and business questions
  • Demonstrates a proven success record of completing projects involving the delivery of Guidewire applications, including ClaimCenter, PolicyCenter and/or BillingCenter.

 

Skills Preferred:

 

  • Eliciting requirements and scope using client interviews, shadowing, document review, surveys and other techniques
  • Translating client requirements into standard UML diagrams and/or Agile user stories
  • Documenting vision and scope, including monitoring changes throughout project lifecycles
  • Collaborating with the user experience and design team to perform traceability of solution to design and business requirements
  • Creating screen mock-ups to help clients visualize requirements
  • Working with development team to estimate the level of effort required for projects, features and individual stories work items
  • Prioritizing client work based on value, risk and dependencies
  • Creating test scenarios, test plans and execution of test cases using various test scenarios to deliver quality results to clients
  • Delivering solutions that meets quality standards and being receptive to feedback and direction from others
  • Adapting to the client's environment, development and quality standards
  • Demonstrates proven thorough levels of ability and success as both an individual contributor and team member to identify and address client needs: actively participating in client discussions and facilitating meetings; communicating a broad range of Deloitte services
