What will your typical day look like?

 

Space Management: 
In collaboration with the room bookings and facilities teams, coordinating and scheduling the configuration of space for meetings and events. 
Assuring that space is ready for use as requested, then cleared and reset.

 

Facilities: 
Supporting the Facilities Inbox requests as assigned by Facilities Team Lead.
Maintaining inventory of supplies, process purchases and payments.
Participate in meetings with landlord and follow up on action items.
Collaborate with the Deloitte Summit OH&S committee on initiatives, such as, emergency response preparedness.

 

Leadership: 
Foster a flexible approach to projects and responsibilities.
Navigate standing up, stabilizing operations and new offerings in our custom-built flagship west coast office.
Collaborate across various CEP functions as required. 
 

About the team

 

The members of the Business Operations team possess a practical body of knowledge that is applied in the delivery of office support. It includes jobs in the areas of concierge/reception, mailroom, production services, catering, and facilities management. 

 

The Client Experience Professionals (CEP) are at the centre of our clients and guests’ experience – setting the tone from beginning to end. They are responsible for providing an elevated hospitality service in line with the Orbis vision. Working closely with a team of colleagues and supported by the CEP manager, the individual will be required to demonstrate a keen knowledge of the firm, anticipate the needs of our guests and talent, go the extra mile when tending to both internal and external parties, react and problem solve efficiently and demonstrate attentive listening skills
 

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

 

•    You have 3-5 years of work experience in customer service, facilities, or the hospitality service industry.
•    Posses the ability to organize workload with a high attention to service excellence and detail.
•    Demonstrate a client service mindset with a strong commitment to customer service and continuous improvement.
•    Have the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with all levels of staff and guests.
•    You are a strong multi-tasker that displays team spirit and resilience in being flexible with daily demands.
•    You are self-driven with a proactive nature and a problem-solving mindset.
•    Have intermediate experience and are comfortable with computer software systems used for communications, word processing, workflow management and content creation. 
•    First aid training an asset.
•    Must have the ability to lift 25 pounds.
