What will your typical day look like?

 

As a Conflicts specialist in CBS Risk, you will play a pivotal role in the identification and management of potential conflicts of interest amongst the firm, our clients and third parties. You will be reviewing and analyzing conflict check results, recommending risk mitigating procedures for the resolution of potential conflicts of interest, and ensuring that the conflict of interest compliance processes are being completed efficiently and effectively. This role will give you an opportunity to integrate conflicts risk management and compliance behaviours into business processes and systems through projects and initiatives with thought leaders across the firm. You may be requested to work in other disciplines within CBS Risk depending on business needs.

About the team

 

You will be working with the Risk team within Central Business Services (CBS).  We have a diverse, dynamic and established team to perform KYC (“Know Your Client”) and conflicts assessment as part of the client and engagement acceptance and continuance and third party due diligence process, enabling our partners and professionals to promptly respond to the market.  Our objective is to protect, preserve and enhance the Deloitte brand and comply with various ethical, regulatory, legal and firm requirements and professional standards.  Our team is a pillar within our firm’s centralized delivery centre with a focus in continuous improvements and enhancing customer and talent experiences.

Required:


•   Completed undergraduate University degree, preferably with business and/or legal background.
•   Proven attention to details and accuracy, including the ability to apply defined methodology and framework with your own independent analysis.
•   Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a demanding and fast-paced environment with competing priorities and deadlines.
•   Proficient in Microsoft Office and online research with an inquisitive mindset.
•   Commitment to quality, ethics and confidentiality.
•   Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•   Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work with others effectively in and across teams including virtual teams with different cultures and backgrounds.

 

Nice to Have:


•   Willing to work additional and/or flexible hours if required. 
•   French is an asset

Total Rewards


The salary range for this position is $47,000 - $78,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
