Position Overview:

Deloitte Management Services seeks a Systems Analyst to fill a position within the IT Infrastructure Security team of Technology & Infrastructure department in the Information Technology Services organization.

This Analyst role will be part of a team of security professionals focused on designing, implementing, and administering IT security policies, technologies, solutions, and processes to secure Deloitte corporate applications, data, computers, and networks.  The Analyst will be needed to focus on daily operational support.  The incumbent will also be required to collaborate with other ITS support teams both onshore and offshore.

The ideal candidate will be a technical minded who has hands-on experience with general IT systems, and infrastructure administration.  As the technology evolves rapidly, the ideal candidate would also be a quick learner and enthusiastic with new IT Security technologies.  

The incumbent will be accountable for, but not limited to the duties below.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Monitor, and maintain the supporting platforms of IT Infrastructure and systems
  • Maintain Microsoft Windows and Linux infrastructure
  • Participate and perform IT maintenance activities.
  • Generate and review weekly compliance report of Deloitte Global PAM.  Address or escalate identified issues
  • Working with Deloitte Global PAM services team on troubleshooting PAM related issues
  • Maintain SSL certificate inventory.  Work with certificate owners to ensure timely renewal of certificates
  • Monitor system event and ServiceNow ticket queues, troubleshoot and resolve level 1 and 2 system issues
  • Follow standard IT change process, document changes and procedures
  • Perform OS installation and system build in a virtualized infrastructure
  • Continuously monitor the capacity and performance of IT Infrastructure Security servers
  • Follow IT best practice to proactively provide the necessary capacity and performance monitoring along with reporting activities
  • Strictly follow IT Security policies in all activities and processes
  • Follow senior team member’s guidance, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our overall IT security posture and mitigation of existing and emerging threats
  • Assist with integrations between multiple technology teams inside and outside the Infrastructure Security team
  • Be innovative and enthusiastic with new IT security technology.  Actively work with senior team members to produce enhanced value to existing environments
  • Participate and contribute in weekly team meetings
  • Provide On-Call technical support during after hours

 

External Posting Qualifications

  • 2+ years of IT Operational support experience
  • Experience on installing and supporting operating systems – Windows and Linux
  • Experience in supporting systems hosted from a virtualized platform (VMware and Hyper-V)
  • Demonstrated problem solving, critical thinking and logical structuring  skills
  • Quick leaner, be enthusiastic to learn new technologies
  • Self-starter, able to work solo and part of a cross functional team, seek guidance when needed
  • Effective verbal and written communication
  • Demonstrated ability to address client needs and issues, including:
    • Working collaboratively with senior team members
    • Building solid, trust-based relationships with team members and clients
    • Timely delivery of issue resolutions that suit specific needs
    • Communicating in an organized and knowledgeable manner
    • Demonstrating flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks
    • Working collaboratively across ITS teams from Canada, India and Chile
    • Working collaboratively with Global Security Services teams
  • Effective interpersonal communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to communicate fluently in Spanish would be an asset
