The Consultant, Service Excellence (SE) will report directly to the Sr. Manager, SE and will provide analytical and operational support to different members of the Service Excellence Team. This individual will act as an advocate for and will proactively address matters related to the Service Excellence Group in Deloitte’s Consulting organization. Service Excellence provides Quality & Risk Management (QRM) and advisory support services to the Consulting group across the full engagement lifecycle  - from the pursuit through to engagement close, promotes adoption and use of firm standard methods and tools to help achieve delivery consistency and to manage engagement risk and quality.

 

As the Consultant/Specialist in Service Excellence, you would be involved in:

 

  • Advocate Quality and Risk in the Consulting practice. Be the SME on Service Excellence tools and procedures and provide advice and consultations to Consulting practitioners on these topics
  • As the SME, strive to continuously improve & streamline processes within the team
  • Be a team player and provide support on strategic and special projects
  • Support in the development of firm-wide (within Consulting) and internal (within SE) communications
  • Support the coordination, planning and management of the national Delivery Excellence training and communications
  • Act as a trusted advisor to Consulting and Global teams regarding methods and tools
  • Leveraging key stakeholders to enable and increase adoption of firm methods and tools in Canada and internationally within Deloitte
  • Training:
  • Work with QRM SME’s to develop training content or approach
  • Organize and co-ordinate training logistics and registration
  • Assist with all training initiatives including support to other SE team members
  • Follow-up and monitor Firm mandated training programs. Monitor completion and provide completion statistics reports to leadership
  • Monitor, track and manage the national SE communications/plan
  • Dashboards and Reporting - develop innovative ways to report to leadership progress of activities/priorities
  • Support the national coordination, planning and management of various initiatives
  • Be a team player and provide support on strategic and special projects for the Service Excellence group

Qualifications:

To qualify for this position, you should possess the following:

  • 3-4 years of related working experience in project coordination
  • CAPM or PMP (or working towards)
  • Strong organization skills: ability to prioritize work demands, and meet deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to work with others effectively in teams
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to interact and interface with all levels within the firm
  • Ability to work in a demanding and fast paced environment independently and in a team setting
  • Commitment to quality, strong attention to detail, process-oriented
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office with proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel and Word
  • Collaborative nature will be an asset to achieve program goals
  • Minimal travel may be required
  • Completed undergraduate degree
