What will your typical day look like?



The DTTL | People Culture & Purpose team is looking for someone with a strong background in corporate social responsibility who can lead our sustainability and volunteering efforts for the Deloitte Global (DTTL) organization. You’ll help us design, implement, and track success of our programs, while also crafting engaging communications that keep our stakeholders and professionals informed and ultimately driven to action.


This is a unique chance to lead the way for our 7,000 professionals within DTTL as we create lasting impact in climate sustainability and increased involvement and investment in education, skills development, and access to opportunity across the globe.


You’ll work together with the DTTL | People Culture & Purpose team, Deloitte Global Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability (CR&S) team, and other key internal and external stakeholders to:


  • Coordinate with a complex matrix of stakeholders within Deloitte Global, across the broader Deloitte organization, and nonprofit partner organizations to support, implement, and measure societal impact and sustainability programs.
  • Create and manage project plans, timelines, and key measures of success including preparation of partnership and program activation deliverables such as presentations, talking points, and other materials.
  • Support the delivery of key events and meetings in collaboration with our executive teams, engagement community, member firm counterparts, and partner organizations.
  • Craft compelling communication plans and create communications deliverables that inspire involvement and reflect the needs of our various internal audiences; work creatively within Deloitte templates and adhere to Deloitte brand standards.
  • Maintain a running editorial calendar and source or create high-quality content that keeps our efforts top-of-mind and continuously engages professionals.
  • Manage a broad champion community, activating them as key contributors to help us reach our impact goals and seeking feedback to continuously improve our offerings.
  • Successfully deliver strategic social impact reporting (planning, implementing, analyzing, documenting, communicating, and follow-up) with multiple stakeholders.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to define and deliver sustainability programs and inspire involvement by Deloitte Global professionals.

While you will report to a senior manager on the team, you’ll work closely with team members at various levels on a wide range of projects and assignments. Enough about us, let’s talk about you



You are someone with:


  • 7+ years of experience
  • BA/BS degree, preferably in Corporate Responsibility, Sustainability, Communications, English, Public Relations,
  • Journalism, Public Policy, International Affairs, or Business
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including mastery of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Knowledge and understanding of sustainability principals as applied in a corporate setting; working knowledge of environmental sustainability and climate terminology (i.e. science-based targets, greenhouse gas emissions (Scopes 1-3), Paris Agreement, 1.5°C scenario), leading organizations (i.e. SBTi, CDP, WRI, WWF, Ceres, UNEP, UNGC) and ESG reporting frameworks (i.e. GHG Protocol, GRI, TCFD, SASB).
  • Demonstrated commitment to Corporate Responsibility, Sustainability, or a related field.
  • Attention to detail, with a focus on producing high-quality, error-free output.
  • Ability to flexibly manage workload to deliver multiple projects in a fast paced, results-oriented environment.
  • Great teaming skills and ability to confidently work autonomously.
  • Ability to manage key stakeholders and contributors at various levels of seniority, from staff to senior executives across
  • Deloitte Global, Deloitte member firms, and external organizations.
  • Comfort with ambiguity; ability to ask thoughtful questions and seek guidance during complexity.
  • Stellar curiosity and research skills.
