Deloitte’s Tax Management Consulting -Enterprise Tax Integration (TMC-ETI) professionals provide an integrated approach to process improvement that can help the tax department maximize its strategic value to the organization. Companies that have already implemented or are considering implementing an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system often overlook the tax benefits these systems can provide or underestimate the impact on the tax department. To be most effective from a tax perspective, a successful ERP implementation requires professionals who specialize in tax and can effectively address a corporate tax function’s unique needs, requirements and obligations. Our ETI team, the largest of its type, offers the necessary combination of skills, methodology and practical experience to help clients avoid the pitfalls of an ERP implementation. 

As a Senior Tax Analyst in TMC – ETI you will:

  • Supporting clients with the Indirect Tax aspects of ERP implementations
  • Optimizing the ERP systems to support their Indirect Tax needs;
  • Integration of 3rd party software solutions that focus on Indirect Tax automation and monitoring;
  • Digital Tax Administration: tax administrations around the world are implementing new ways on how taxpayers will report to them. You will be assisting the engagement team to help clients on how to respond to these new requirements

You will work within an engagement team assisting with:

  • Identifying business requirements
  • Requirements management
  • Functional design
  • Configuration of tax software
  • Process design (including scenario design and flow mapping
  • Testing
  • Defining support procedures and supporting implementations

External Posting Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree is required with a preference in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology and or related discipline.
  • 3-5 years relevant experience
  • Finance, Tax or IT related experience is required.
  • Experience in ERP system implementations is required (Considering the current market demand, we would need to look for one resource with Oracle knowledge and another one with SAP knowledge. Oracle or SAP knowledge should be therefore mandatory).
  • Experience in the following system implementation is preferred: S/4 HANA, SAP Ariba, COUPA, MarkView
  • Knowledge of tax determination/reporting and compliance tools preferred (e.g., Vertex, ONESOURCE, eBTax, AvaTax, etc.)
  • Applications development/programming experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server is preferred.
  • Strong presentation skills and written/verbal communications are preferred.
