What will your typical day look like?


The Senior Specialist, Learning will support the Learning and Development Experience team on a portfolio of professional and/or leadership learning programs with a national scope.  Additionally, you may support special projects and will be responsible for supporting the delivery and coordination of complex internal programs, as well as ensuring alignment and execution of learning strategies to meet department objectives.


Key activities include:

•    Managing end-to-end program delivery, working closely with other learning team members and various stakeholders to ensure a world-class learner and faculty experience
•    Analyzing and diagnosing business or client learning needs to develop, recommend, and design creative learning and development solutions 
•    Serving as a subject matter expert to advise on learning program and curriculum design and development (e.g. adult learning theory, technology, project management, design, development, evaluation, etc.)

Learning & Development (L&D) Experience is a centralized team, providing world-class learning and development programs and experiences designed to build the best leaders, advance future readiness skills and capabilities, and support personal and professional growth throughout the career lifecycle. Enough about us, let’s talk about you


You are someone who has:

•    4+ years’ experience in learning and development or related field, as well as bachelor’s degree or equivalent in education, adult learning, or leadership development
•    Experience throughout the entire cycle of a learning program, including planning, instructional design, development, deployment, assessment, and maintenance 
•    An eye for detail and the proven ability to manage complex projects in a fast-paced environment
•    Excellent stakeholder management skills and an aptitude for building and maintaining a strong network with colleagues, clients, and vendors
•    Strong technical knowledge of applications, such as Zoom, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, team collaboration sites, along with the ability to adapt to new applications
•    The ability to anticipate the short and long-term impact of decisions and take a broad approach to problem solving
•    Comfort combining both qualitative and quantitative analysis to solve business problems
•    Excellent communication skills coupled with a sense of leadership
•    Experience working with analytics and learning technologies (LMS, LXP, Articulate) an asset
•    Bilingualism in English and French (oral and written) an asset
