What will your typical day look like?

 

As a Senior Salesforce Developer you'll work within an engagement team and be responsible for identifying business requirements, requirements management, functional design, prototyping, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), testing, training, defining support procedures and supporting implementations.

You'll work in a collaborative team environment analyzing client issues and developing solutions, as the Technical Salesforce expert, creating strong technical solutions and providing guidance to more junior resources, along with:

  • Enhancing existing client solutions by building out existing functionality to include additional features or modules
  • Managing and resolving service incidents and service requests
  • Configure and code technology solutions to meet identified business requirements, processes and functional requirements
  • Provide maintenance services to clients to ensure smooth cloud releases and functional integration with other applications and vendor solutions
  • Manage application security and perform monitoring
  • Develop an understanding of customer's business and solution
  • Ensure that the solution standard practices are utilized for all configurations and customizations
  • Ensure activities are completed on time, with high quality, and according to service level agreements, where applicable
  • Continue to develop your expertise and expand your skillset
  • Support the Delivery Center team by acting as main focal point when queries arise around tool functionalities and capabilities
  • Demonstrate accountability and contributions to the successful realization of client goals.  You'll enhance existing client solutions by building out existing functionality to include additional features or modules.

Deloitte's Risk Advisory practice advises organizations on how to effectively mitigate risk and make informed and intelligent risk decisions around business processes, technology, and operations. The tech-asset team with-in the Risk Advisory group focuses on developing products for Data Integrations, Analytical Solutions and Business Intelligence using a mix of new technologies and proven methodologies to achieve business outcomes.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

 

You are someone with:
•    A Bachelor’s degree or diploma, preferably in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering, other IT discipline
•    5+ years of consulting and/or CRM/ERP implementation experience and 4 full life-cycle Salesforce implementations with strong expertise in 2 of the following Salesforce modules: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Force.com, Field Service, CPQ   
•    Experience managing at least two large-scale full-life cycle implementations of CRM/ERP solutions and ability to run code reviews and enforce coding best practices
•    2+ years’ experience working with software product development processes using agile project management and VCS/CI/CD tools (e.g. JIRA, Git, Jenkins, Bitbucket, etc.)
•    Knowledge of software product development processes using agile project management and VCS/CI/CD tools (e.g. JIRA, Git, Jenkins, Bitbucket, etc.) and understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile, SCRUM, RUP, other)
•    Willingness to further deepen Salesforce platform development skills and be a go to expert for the team.
•    Exposure to the full software development lifecycle or post implementation support processes is an asset
•    Salesforce Certifications:  Administration, Advanced Admin, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Platform Developer I & II, App Builder, Application & System Domain Architect, Certified Technical Architect, and previous consulting experience is an asset
