What will your typical day look like?

The Senior Manager role is a key leadership role at Deloitte. Accountabilities span all aspects of client services, from delivering complex business agility transformation programs to selling and driving business with our clients, to managing and setting the direction of the practice and our people.

Key Roles & Responsibilities include:

  • Cultivate and build long term relationships with senior executive clients across Canada
  • Identify, lead, and close business development opportunities within public sector transformation offerings and across other offerings across the firm (operating at the “Green Dot” level) within the Security & Justice sector
  • Assume leadership within the National Security & Justice practice, and contribute to the development and evolution of the national strategy
  • Assume overall leadership in the delivery of projects, supported by a core team of Consultants
  • Contribute to the growth and development of our people, by making mentoring and coaching of team members a priority

Our National Security & Justice practice is comprised of a group of professionals with a depth and breadth of experience in the security and justice fields.

We work collaboratively with public sector clients in courts, policing, and corrections to help them strategize, address complex, contemporary challenges, inspire innovation, evaluate programs, re-design services, manage risk, navigate culture change, and design and implement organizational change with focus on smart, human-focused, sustainable impact.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

You are someone with the following attributes:

  • 8-10 years of relevant work experience, including exposure to business transformation, operational modelling, service modernization, and strategy execution
  • An undergraduate degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, Public Policy / Administration or other relevant degree (MBA or other relevant master’s degree is considered an asset)
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work with and lead others effectively in teams
  • Exposure leading large-scale programmatic implementation projects
  • Experience with Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) and related enabling technologies is an asset. Certifications in project and/or program management is also an asset.
  • Experience in working or advising within the Security & Justice sector an asset
