Grow your career in Privacy by taking a leadership role in Deloitte’s Privacy & Confidentiality Team. 

What will your typical day look like?

You will take a leadership role in the Privacy and Confidentiality Office, acting as an advisor to Deloitte internal stakeholders, and as a guide to the PCO team. You will enable strategic initiatives by applying privacy and confidentiality principles, while expanding the PCO’s influence in the firm’s services and enabling areas. You will champion for privacy and confidentiality efforts across Deloitte’s business lines; have oversight of Privacy & Confidentiality Office projects; establish Key Risk / Performance Indicators to benchmark privacy program against desired state; lead periodic privacy / confidentiality reviews of various initiatives; and other duties as required.

About the team

The Privacy and Confidentiality Office is part of Deloitte’s national Regulatory, Quality, Risk, and Reputation group. The PCO is a dynamic and creative team with representation in both Canada and Chile. The team is led by the Director of Privacy and Confidentiality and reports directly to Deloitte’s Chief Privacy and Chief Confidentiality Officer. Our mandate is to enable Deloitte’s strategic success through the responsible use of data. We strive to strengthen Deloitte’s culture of confidentiality, protecting, preserving, and enhancing the Deloitte brand with everything we do.

You are someone who has: 


  •  Minimum 6-8 years of relevant work experience 
  • Proven leadership skills in a related field
  • Comprehensive knowledge of global privacy regulations
  •  Superior verbal and written communication skills
  •  Confident, tactful, and able to effectively influence others and deal effectively with senior leaders
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Preference will be given to individuals with relevant privacy designations (e.g. CIPP)
  • Strong organization skills: ability to prioritize multiple demands, and meet deadlines
