What will your typical day look like?

 

You will help lead the group, acting as an advisor both to existing team members and the firm at large on application of privacy and confidentiality principles, while expanding the PCO’s reach into the firm’s services and enabling areas. Champion privacy and confidentiality efforts across Deloitte’s business lines; have oversight of Privacy & Confidentiality Office staff on projects or otherwise as required; establish Key Risk / Performance Indicators to benchmark privacy program against desired state; lead periodic privacy / confidentiality reviews of programs, service lines, or enabling areas and other duties as required.

This is a dynamic and creative team tasked with strengthening Deloitte’s culture of confidentiality, enabling the firm’s strategic success through the appropriate use of data. The Privacy and Confidentiality Office (PCO) develops, delivers, and monitors initiatives to manage and maintain the confidentiality of data belonging to the firm and our clients. The PCO protects, preserves, and enhances the Deloitte brand, acting as advisor to the business and enabling areas.

You have: 

  • Minimum 8-10 years of relevant work experience 
  • Proven leadership skills in a related field
  • Comprehensive, thorough knowledge of global privacy regulations
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Confident, tactful, and able to effectively influence others and deal effectively with senior leaders
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Excellent analytical and research abilities
  • Strong organization skills: ability to prioritize multiple demands, and meet deadlines
