Work you’ll do:

We are looking for a senior manager with experience supporting a technology organization, to translate strategic priorities for the GTS organization into a world class learning program, designed to meet the needs of an ever-evolving workforce.

This is a unique opportunity to lead the learning and development efforts for a global business unit comprised of highly technical professionals.  The GTS Learning & Development Lead will have broad and diverse responsibilities for managing all learning and development related programs and processes that support GTS strategic business objectives. This role will also have responsibility for leading efforts to build out a globally consistent Cyber learning program.  This role will report both to the Deloitte Global Learning & Development (L&D) leader, and the GTS Learning Council who will provide strategic oversight and leadership of the future GTS learning program.

Specifically, this role is responsible for:

  • In-depth research into leading-edge best practices – particularly in renowned tech companies to build out a world-class learning program that will develop capabilities of the current workforce and attract top talent to join GTS
  • In-depth research into internal and external learning resources – particularly those best positioned to develop technical, professional and leadership skills, using carefully defined criteria
  • Advising the GTS Learning Council on options, risks and costs versus benefits of various solutions proposed and partnering for input and validation and every aspect of the curriculum rollout, including identification of the skills of the future, needs analysis, design, delivery and measurement.
  • Program management – drive the development and roll out of all learning solutions that arise from the needs analysis, including program logistics, communications & project management.
  • Learning & development communication – develop a strategy and implementation plan to drive all GTS learning curriculum communication and branding efforts.
  • Learning analytics/reporting –create and present effective data to the GTS Learning Council that describes the effectiveness and ROI of the GTS learning curriculum

To be considered for this role, there are certain qualifications you’ll have to have. And others that would be really, really nice.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Instructional Design or related field preferred  
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience, and strong experience leading a complex, multifaceted learning curriculum.
  • Experience driving and leading innovative, cutting-edge learning programs for a technology organization 

Required Experience

  • Excellent relationship building skills, particularly with senior management
  • Strong influencing skills
  • Strong organizational skills, program delivery and program management experience
  • Instructional design experience
  • Experience working with learning vendors and managing vendor relationships
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; strong business writing skills required

Technical Skills

  • Advanced skills in all Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook and MS Teams)
  • Experience working with virtual learning platforms (e.g., Saba Centra) and virtual meeting software
  • Experience working with e-learning platforms and digital learning tools (e.g., Brainshark, Articulate, Storyline, Captivate)
  • Experience using knowledge sharing tools (e.g., SharePoint)
  • Experience working with HR related systems and HR data (e.g., SABA, SAP, etc.)


  • Learning Management System (LMS) administration preferred
  • Ability to work comfortably with senior leadership in a virtual environment
  • Ability to work independently and in a self-directed manner with minimal guidance
  • Ability to manage competing, high-priority demands in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable to change when presented with shifting priorities and deadlines
