What will your typical day look like?

 

You will proactively manage senior team members’ schedules, including coordinating with client and business-related activities with minimal input and direction; Anticipate and support the team within an agile workplace, including location and reservation of appropriate space and other required resources; Travel management; Expense and time reporting; Assemble, format and proofread executive presentations and briefing materials ; Research options and source corporate gifts; Identify requirements for meetings and events, arrange appropriate support, including researching venues, securing reservations, determining menus—all requiring an elevated attention to detail; Coordinate and attend internal/external meetings as requested to document action items for independent follow up.

About the team

 

The role of Executive Assistant is to provide administrative and project support for a member of Deloitte’s Executive Leadership Team. The successful candidate will work alongside the Executive to provide superior administrative support. The selected candidate will be detail-oriented, anticipatory, highly organized and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment, all the while demonstrating discretion and the ability to manage confidential information. This position will be based in Toronto.

You are someone with:

  • Minimum 8-10 years of customer service and/or administrative experience (experience supporting Executives is an asset) in a professional, customer-service driven and fast-paced environment
  • Ability to deal with highly confidential information, diplomacy, conciliation and discretion are all vital in this role
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to build effective relationships and work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Advanced-level knowledge of common industry software such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat
  • Flexibility to work overtime, if required
