The Fraud Management landscape is continually evolving and becoming increasingly complex for our clients to manage. Complex and legacy government systems, rapidly emerging fraud risks and ever increasing economic and social pressures leave our clients struggling to manage the risk exposure and program integrity in a nimble and effective manner. 

What will your typical day look like?

No two days are the same within this group, but some of the key duties and responsibilities of this role will include assisting in different areas of project management, including client engagements and internal initiatives,
delivering high quality engagements and working collaboratively to analyze clients issues and prepare/participate in client presentations. 
You will be part of a diverse cross functional team that works on policy, controls as well as process and data improvements and a variety fo analytical techniques to prevent, detect and investigate fraud to improve overall program integrity. 
 

About the team

Deloitte helps our clients to protect their brand and reputation by proactively advising on their exposure to fraud, corruption, and opportunities to improve public sector program integrity. Drawing on our global network of seasoned financial crime experts, intelligence analysts, technologists and advanced analytics, we can quickly and efficiently gain an understanding of our clients’ various fraud, waste and abuse exposures. We provide expert advice and solutions to address our clients integrity and prevention needs across the organization from strategy, implementation, to remediation.
As a Senior Consultant in the Deloitte Financial Crime practice, you will be supporting the creation of business insights related to financial crime in publc sector during our client engagements.You will have the chance to learn from the best and contribute towards innovative solutions in response to an evolving landscape.  
 

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

You are someone with:
•    Completed a Bachelor's Degree or Master Degree in the preferred concentration in a quantitative or business discipline such as: Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Economics, Accounting or other similar disciplines. 
•    4-5 years of relevant professional experience, prioc consulting work prefered
•    Ability to develop and present new ideas and conceptualize new approaches and solutions
•    Previous experience with building prevention and detection use cases, operating models, strategies in fraud preventions 
•    Exceptional, critical thinking, presentation and analytical skills
•    Strong communicator, incuding listening skills with an ability to translate insights across business and technology teams and to develop and present new ideas and conceptualize new approaches and solutions
•    Strong team and work ethic, comfortable with ambiguity, change and challenge
•    Consulting or other client-facing experience is preferred
•    Previous working experience in the public sector is preferred
•    French language is an asset
