What will your typical day look like?

Reporting to the Manager of Client Services you will require frequent communication with Clients about current campaigns, deposit and banking information, monthly donor programs, upcoming campaigns, database extractions and reports. You will lead client meetings, maintain ongoing status conference calls and provide professional and thorough responses to Client inquiries with respect to their donor databases, receipting, reporting and other miscellaneous issues.  Your relationship management skills will help liaise with Deloitte’s Production Team to ensure that the processing of donations is completed in an accurate and timely manner and the Programming Team to ensure database extractions are completed correctly and on time.

The Senior Consultant will also manage data work for clients including:

  • QC for reports and extractions.
  • Set up mail campaigns, new codes, etc. utilizing Deloitte’s proprietary software.

Your time management skills will be used to prioritize multiple competing deadlines and support client projects managed through the Business Solutions team that can include, but are not limited to, RE migrations and API builds. You will serve as an escalation point for production items, support and lead Task Forces for divisional development which could also include supporting or leading internal divisional projects. You will develop and maintain Divisional Documentation in coordination with other teams within the Fundraising Group and manage invoicing/billing inquiries.

About the team

The Client Services Team within Deloitte Fundraising Services are client-facing Senior Consultants who provide ongoing support and advice to better guide fundraising efforts. This takes the form of:

  • Production issues relating to donation processing/receipting
  • Data Management: imports/exports, APIs and relational databases
  • Project management on behalf of Client initiatives
  • Provision of knowledge/insight into fundraising efforts
  • Upcoming trends and advice

You are someone with:

  • Post-secondary education, preferable within a business management, marketing or fundraising focus, or any combination of experience and education that would provide the required knowledge and abilities for successful performance
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the development of Client relationships
  • Exceptional verbal and written business communication skills with diverse audiences.
  • Project Management experience would be beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Previous experience using Raiser’s Edge would be beneficial but not mandatory.
