What will your typical day look like?

 

As a Consultant/Senior Consultant on our Consulting Innovation and Growth Platforms team, you will help accelerate how we explore the latest emerging technologies and tap into the innovation ecosystem to build our firm’s next wave of market leading client solutions. You will support the team in both an advisory and execution capacity focusing on the: sensing, scouting, and qualification of our next big ideas; engaging with our ecosystem partners and member firms on co-incubation opportunities; plus helping with the continuous improvement of our program operations. Additionally, as our big bets are qualified; you will be a key driver towards defining how we scale, mobilize, and govern these ideas into priority growth initiatives for our Consulting business through the Consulting Growth Platforms program.

We do this by pushing ourselves to find ideas that straddle the delicate intersect between disruptive ecosystem trends and real business impact. Enough about us, let’s talk about you

 

  • Experienced (5+ years) working in the incubator, venture capital, or start-up ecosystem driving disruptive transformation and/or new growth initiatives
  • Curious about exploring the intersect between emerging digital trends and signature industry challenges, and distilling these learnings into a pipeline of ideas that are ready for incubation
  • Familiar with the practical application of Design Thinking, Human Centered Design, and Lean Start-up frameworks
  • Capable of performing early stage idea incubation and rapid product development (I.e., define, ideate, prototype, test & refine), market research (I.e., competitive analysis, industry trends, consumer sentiment, etc.), and business casing (I.e., addressable & serviceable market, revenue streams, cost structure, delivery model etc.)
  • Experienced engaging ecosystem partners from a due diligence and collaboration perspective, ranging from high potential startups to established players
  • A critical thinker, highly curious, creative, and engaging storyteller with robust verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to thrive in ambiguous environments, and proactively explore opportunities to pivot when problems arise
  • Comfortable with building and nurturing relationships with business stakeholders spanning senior leadership to operational and product development personnel
  • Knowledgeable with developing and managing a large portfolio of growth initiatives (including: pipeline management; operational status reporting and governance; executive dashboard development; stakeholder communications, etc.)
