The Intelligent Automation CoE within Deloitte’s Information Technology Services- Solutions Delivery group requires an experienced and strong Senior Analyst RPA to analyze the current business processes and identify automation opportunities, capture and document automation requirements.


This role requires:

  • Good facilitation and interviewing skills to understand and evaluate Business processes for suitability for automation
  • Ability to understand and analyze Business processes across a wide domain
  • Expertise in creating clear Business process maps and Business Requirements Documentation
  • Communication with Executive leadership



  • Analyzes and observes processes to understand process steps, interdependencies, and applications used to complete business transactions.
  • Conduct interviews to understand the Business processes and potential for automation
  • Identifies which processes are feasible for automation; provides recommendations to alter or reengineer processes to automate and/or improve automation potential.
  • Facilitate, document and validate automation requirements
  • Advises stakeholders and senior management on benefits and savings of automation; creates and presents a business view RPA solution design.
  • Create functional design for the automation developers including detailed RPA logic, beginning to end of a process.
  • Provides detailed outline of process inputs: various formats, structured vs. unstructured layouts, etc.
  • Creates alternate flows, nested validations, and verifications to outline the various paths a transaction can traverse through the automation flow.
  • Participates in project planning for RPA initiatives.
  • Collaborate with RPA developers and business stakeholders on complex issues/conflicts that impact time, cost, scope, quality, and risk of projects.
  • Determines and advises the most appropriate technical response to identified complex problems, issues and/or defects by assessing impact and prioritization.
  • Maintains knowledge on current and emerging developments/trends for Intelligent Automation, collaborates with senior management to incorporate new trends and developments in current and future solutions.
  • Review the automation test cases
  • Provide input into in-progress status reports for project and program management
  • Adhere to technology organization’s technical design and documentation standards and conform to applicable architectural standards
  • Provide input into project / resource estimating activities

External Posting Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of experience in business client-facing role involving process design/process improvement work directly aligned to the specific responsibilities of this role.
  • Experience with features and functionalities of RPA - Robotic Process Automation tools.
  • Experience with back-office processes and process mapping
  • Ability to prioritize, organize and complete multiple tasks with a high attention to detail
  • Computer literacy with mapping, spreadsheets, word processing and database software (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Visio, etc.)
  • Exposure to delivering in both Agile and Waterfall methodology within large financial institutions is very desirable
  • Strong commitment to professional client service excellence
  • Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to work with others effectively in teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
