What will your typical day look like?

 

Sales Transformation Leads hold a key role in reducing the stigma around sales and effectively shifting the sales culture of the firm. Your role is twofold – firstly, help bid teams use design thinking principles to enhance their client’s buying experience from contact to close and secondly, teach your colleagues core sales capabilities. With your experience in sales and innovation tactics, your day-to-day activities will include running strategic and design thinking workshops, coaching bid teams on developing winning proposals, creating sales learning materials, and facilitating training sessions on essential sales skills. Working in collaborative teams of subject matter experts and other NSO professionals, you will be involved in all phases of a pursuit from facilitating strategy development, developing creative ways to respond to Requests for Proposals (RFP), and coaching teams for live client presentations.

About the team

 

The National Sales Office (NSO) is of a group of specialized professionals dedicated to maximizing Deloitte’s return on sales investments, and to driving the firm’s most strategic opportunities. The NSO leads the firm on sales governance, sales support, and sales innovation and works with public and private sector teams from all the Deloitte businesses across Canada. NSO’s tools, techniques and methods have been recognized as leading best practices by Deloitte globally.

You are someone with:

  • An M.B.A with a focus on business strategy and design thinking and a minimum of 4 years’ experience in sales or client-facing work.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills which allow you to work with practitioners of varying backgrounds and collaborate with and influence others.
  • Strong facilitation skills and ability to not only lead strategic discussions but also design workshops and training sessions that maximize participant engagement.
  • Attentiveness to gaps in current processes and the ability to create and execute plans for improvement. 
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects at once.
  • Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving ability that allows you to quickly gain the trust of leaders.
  • Bilingual (French and English) an asset.
