What will your typical day look like?



The Talent Strategy and Transformation Manager will lead people transformation activities supporting various internal business transformation initiatives and special projects across Deloitte Global. Transformation activities include: talent integration for new businesses, organizational restructuring, organization design, leadership transitions, shifts to new talent models, workforce planning and business as usual HR activities.


This is a highly consultative, strategic, and collaborative role and an exciting opportunity to be involved in high-impact work for a rapidly globalizing organization. The ideal candidate will have a human capital or strategy consulting background with strong organizational design, workforce transition, change management, and project management skills.


  • Lead multiple transformation initiatives and strategic projects, working with a team of transformation specialists, consultants, the Global People Centers of Excellence and stakeholder groups across other business units, with primary focus on our technology organizations
  • Conduct current state assessments, develop recommendations, and design/build solutions for transformation initiatives
  • Lead concept, define scope, and execute on strategic and operational business transformation initiatives, ranging from business and operational strategy to process improvement
  • Be an effective change agent utilizing proper stakeholder analysis and change management techniques including the ability to develop change management approach, stakeholder maps, and communications strategy to support transformation initiatives, integrations, and leadership transitions
  • Support multiple transformation initiatives and strategic projects simultaneously, working with People leaders/team members and stakeholder groups across other business units, with primary focus on our technology organizations
  • Participate in cross-functional working groups to solve complex organizational and talent issues and develop solutions (e.g., workforce planning)
  • Develop and monitor project plans, track and follow-up on risks, accurately report progress against milestones to keep projects/initiatives on schedule
  • Support broader priorities and special projects for the Organizational Effectiveness team

You are someone with:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Psychology, or Human Resources or the equivalent required
  • 5-8 years of experience in a Human Capital or Strategy consulting role or HR business partner role for a large, global, matrixed organization
  • Organizational Design or Workforce Transformation project experience
  • Significant change management, transformation, and organizational design experience required, preferably on global projects/initiatives
  • Consultative skills and client service orientation
  • Ability to design and take initiatives from abstract to concrete. Able to manage competing, high-priority demands; prioritizing workload, managing projects and multiple responsibilities against strict deadlines
  • Excellent strategic thinker, with demonstrated experience translating strategic goals/concepts into action plans and implementing initiatives at an operational level
  • Admirable interpersonal/collaboration skills. Ability to establish credibility/rapport with senior stakeholders globally and in a virtual environment
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills. Able to adjust communication style based on the audience
  • Excellent demonstration of analytical skills and ability to prepare executive ready materials, including mastery of PowerPoint and Excel
  • High comfort level working in a fast-paced, results-oriented culture
  • Ability to navigate a global, matrixed, and mostly virtual environment for effective outcomes
  • High comfort level in ambiguous situations; able to learn quickly and exercise judgment in situations where data may be elusive
