What will your typical day look like?

 

As a member of the Global Digital Collaboration team at Deloitte, this role will drive innovation and virtualization of the enterprise through advanced solution architectures leveraging the M365 product suite and Azure technologies. Responsible for developing technology strategy, product and feature evaluations, risk and security assessments and detailed architecture designs, this role will touch every aspect of the digital collaboration roadmap, working closely with Deloitte technology professionals, Microsoft and other technology vendors. This role will advise Deloitte practitioners and professionals on the best use of these technologies for their own solutions while delivering and evolving a best-in-class collaboration experience to our end users.

Responsibilities:

• Designs long-term, reliable, and end-to-end technical architectures. Develops functional architecture design
• Creating project and application architecture deliverables that are consistent with architecture principles, standards, methodologies, and best practices.
• Responsible for defining technical evaluation criteria for product and technology selection and determining technical approaches to ensure all architectural solutions result in a coherent systems design.
• Transforms detailed requirements into a complete, detailed systems design document and designs consistent, extensible, and integrated enterprise components across distinct data sources and platforms
• Supports creation of interface specifications and call flows for the various components in the design
• Provides inputs to create Agile user stories based on business requirements
• Provides technical analysis of business requirements and applicability to the current or planned Platform/Enabler/API Platform capabilities
• Oversees and administers Office 365/SharePoint Online environments, defines standard operating procedures and automates operations and reporting

You are someone with:

• 5+ years industry experience, in architecture and delivery of software products and solutions
• 3+ years’ experience architecting and implementing Office 365 solutions in SharePoint Online and the Microsoft Graph preferably in a multi-geo environment
• 3+ years of experience designing and implementing off-prem public cloud (Azure, etc.) environments, solution architectures and operational models. Includes developing cloud-ready solutions, with active-active and geo/regional resiliency with near zero RPO & RTO
• Software design, cloud architecture analysis and design, and systems engineering, particularly with Azure development and design work that may include logical design, I/O, and microservices based solutions
• Knowledge of cloud security controls including tenant isolation, encryption at rest, encryption in transit, key management, vulnerability assessments, application firewalls, SIEM, etc.
• Experience in working with the Microsoft Graph API and SDK
• Experience with Office 365 global administration, architecture and development
• Excellent communication and documentation skills and consulting experience a plus
• 3+ years of experience with IaaS, 2+ Years with PaaS and experience with SaaS offerings
• 2+ years of experience with Azure & SPO Cloud migrations
• 1+ years of experience with Azure AI + Machine Learning
• Application architect with design/development experience on one or more multiple platforms example (C#/.NET/Asp.NET) Current working experience with application architecture and development using popular cloud and hybrid platforms cloud PaaS platforms
• Knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure, preferably designing and implementing off-prem cloud (Azure) or on-prem/private cloud virtualized architectures and solutions, including active-active and geo/regional resiliency with near zero RPO & RTO
• Working knowledge in building ARM templates, VSTS Integration, automated build pipe and deployment
• Experience in Relational and NoSQL databases (SQL Server / CosmosDB / MongoDB / Hadoop etc.)
• Knowledge of programming and scripting languages such as Angular/Angular JS/React JS and Node JS., PowerShell, SQL, .NET,
• Experience in leading architecture activities like designing, & proof-of-concepts.
• Experience in DevOps and Scaled Agile
• Knowledge of SharePoint on-prem development and administration
• Ability to communicate technical concepts in business language a plus
