What will your typical day look like?


Deloitte’s National Sales Office (NSO) is seeking an Account Management Coordinator to join their team to provide the necessary support to the national Mid-Market Portfolio Management team. The successful candidate will become the point of reference for colleagues with respect to account and portfolio management support, reporting, RFP sourcing and client research. As an integral part of a high-performing team of professionals, you will report to the Senior Manager.

Your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Support the Portfolio Management team in various initiatives such as: relationship mapping, account and sales plan development, account team presentations, revenue and sales reporting.
  • Connect with Portfolio Managers nationally to gather best practices to fostering and support a community of knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Become a subject matter expert of CRM Administration, utilizing the tool to perform CRM queries and generate and create sales reports. 
  • Assist with the maintenance and sharing of service, industry or firm knowledge, credentials and capabilities for the benefit of partners, staff and clients.
  • Source public tenders (Requests for Proposals) for mid-market clients, working with bid teams to ensure that RFPs and addenda are shared with the appropriate team members and stakeholders, and submission of proposals via online portals
  • Develop & maintain strong relationships with all members of the Portfolio Management and Mid-Market Program Team and key members of the National Sales Office.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Teams in industry specific campaigns and client events.
  • Ensure firm quality and brand standards both internally and externally.
  • Adhere to the firm’s policies in the areas of: Independence, Confidentiality, Non-solicitation & Intellectual property.

The National Sales Office (NSO) is of a group of specialized professionals dedicated to maximizing Deloitte’s return on sales investments, and to driving the firm’s most strategic pursuits. The NSO leads the firm on sales governance, sales support, and sales innovation and works with public and private sector teams from all of the Deloitte services lines across Canada.

You are someone who is/has:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in business, marketing or communications with a minimum 1 year of inside sales, marketing and communications experience, preferably in a professional services or business-to-business environment.
  • Ambitious, enthusiastic with an ability to prioritize and problem solve in a fast-paced detail-oriented environment with minimal supervision.
  • Self-starter and independent, you demonstrate a willingness to embrace change and challenge the status quo, adapt to rapidly changing technology, and create efficient workflow processes to meet changing business requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written). You possess the ability to develop relationships with diverse teams (including Partners and Staff) to facilitate proactive articulation and resolution of issues in a concise and clear manner.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook) and database management experience.
  • Bilingual is an asset but not required.
