What will your typical day look like?


Deloitte is seeking a Marketing Manager who will be responsible for executing the national strategic marketing/communications plan for the Financial Services Industry (FSI) group, which includes the Banking, Insurance, Investment Management and Real Estate sectors.  Working with the leaders of the FSI group, you will be responsible for ensuring the execution of the firm’s go-to-market strategy across Canada. You will serve as a trusted advisor and work with the industry leaders to execute a full complement of marketing initiatives to drive growth and enhance market positioning.

About the team


Reporting to the Senior Manager, Industry, you will be a self-motivated, energetic, driven and results oriented individual. Working closely with the national FSI leader, you will execute strategies for elevating Deloitte’s presence and strengthening the firm’s brand and revenue opportunity generation.  Additionally, you will work closely with the local marketing representatives across the country, lead Services marketers, as well as global counterparts to ensure plans are aligned and executed with a view to achieving the firm’s overall business growth objectives.

  • Minimum six years of marketing/communications experience, with a focus on strategy, planning, budget management and implementing integrated marketing communications campaign programs designed to build relationships.
  • Specific experience in the financial services industry is required, with understanding of market segmentation and customer relationship management/databases.
  • Prior sales or sales enablement experience is preferred, with familiarity with demand generation, lead tracking, ROI is needed to be successful.
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing or Business.
  • Strong writing, negotiation and project management skills, with ability to work with all levels of an organization.
  • Experience with the following marketing and sales support tactics: Sales Support and Enablement, Conference/Event/Tradeshow management (world-class marketing events), Collateral/content production, Direct mail/contact programs, Sponsorships, Media relations and Online and Social.
  • Self-starter, independent and proactive, with ability to thrive in a remote working culture
