What will your typical day look like?

 

As a Senior Manager at Deloitte, you will embrace and live the firm’s purpose – to make an impact that matters – by pushing yourself and your team to identify solutions to challenges that are most important for our clients, people, and society. You will help develop high-performing people and teams through challenging and meaningful opportunities, deliver exceptional client service by maximizing results and driving high performance from people, while also fostering collaboration across businesses and borders. You will have the chance to ​​​​​​provide strategic advice and guidance to clients and oversee projects related to risk management, internal control, compliance, value for money, process effectiveness and efficiency, and governance.while helping manage a diverse team of talented managers, senior consultants and consultants and coaching them to their highest potential.

About the team

 

Internal Auditors are responsible for conducting advisory engagements, audits or investigations on an organization’s business processes. This includes using established tools and methodologies to develop audit plans, collect and analyze data, write audit reports and present results. Internal Audits are conducted in a wide range of industries including public sector. As an Internal Auditor, you may also provide risk consulting services such as conducting client risk identification interviews, co-facilitating risk assessment workshops, developing risk management reports, policies and frameworks and assisting with risk mitigation strategies.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

 

You are someone with:

  • MBA or undergraduate degree in a business or accounting
  • 6-8 years of relevant work experience
  • Relevant professional designation (e.g., CPA, CA, CIA, CRMA)
  • Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to work with others effectively in teams
  • Ability to obtain Government of Canada Secret level security clearance is mandatory
