Learning & Development (L&D) Experience is a centralized team, providing world-class learning and development programs and experiences designed to build the best leaders, advance future readiness skills and capabilities, and support personal and professional growth throughout the career lifecycle. With an aspiration to become a leadership development “powerhouse”, the L&D Experience team is the face of learning to the business and works to collectively transform how our people, clients and communities learn, build connections and are inspired through curated experiences.

What will your typical day look like?

 

The Leadership Programming Manager will partner with senior stakeholders and subject matter experts to design and deliver world-class learning and development solutions for in-person and virtual environments. This work includes collaborating with internal clients to assess learning and development needs, identify gaps, define learning objectives and business outcomes, and design high-impact development experiences for leaders in our firm. You will also work closely with the Deloitte University team on end-to-end program management and delivery, which includes participant and faculty management, drafting communication plans, budgeting, faculty briefings, and vendor management. Focused on accelerating the development of strategic cohorts and firm leaders, at its core this role will help to drive our strategic vision and inspire and empower our people.

You are someone who has:

 

  • Extensive instructional design experience and a proven track record of designing, developing, and implementing innovative learning solutions for virtual and live environments. 
  • A drive for excellence, client service, and making things happen. You can work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and can deliver key messages with clarity and poise to instill confidence in stakeholders. French and/or Spanish speaking is an asset.
  • Exceptional senior stakeholder management skills and an ability to build and maintain a strong network with colleagues, clients, and vendors. 
  • An eye for detail and the proven ability to manage complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong technical knowledge of applications, such as Zoom, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, team collaboration sites, along with the ability to adapt to new applications.
  • 6+ years’ experience in learning and development or related field, as well as bachelor’s degree or equivalent in education, learning or leadership development.
  • Knowledge and experience related to incorporating executive coaching and formal psychometric/behavioural assessment into broader leadership development programs is an asset.
