Our internal Finance team is looking for a highly motivated, strategically minded and dynamic individual to support our Omnia Artificial Intelligence Practice.  Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, Omnia AI FABS, this role will manage the Financial Planning and Analysis for the National practice. Relationships with Senior Leadership are a key responsibility of this role.


Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Leverage a strong knowledge of the Firm’s financial model, systems and processes to act as a point of reference for leaders, practitioners and finance colleagues
  • Financial modelling, analysis, interpretation and recommendations that support management decision making
  • Work closely with the leadership team, Talent Advisors, Resource Management and Learning groups to assist in developing long term and annual financial plans, forecasts and short-term financial outlooks using a range of predictive tools
  • Provide analysis to support weekly and periodic overviews of financial and operating performance
  • Propose appropriate course of action based on areas of concern or opportunities for improvement
  • Measure and report on strategic initiatives aligned to our business and financial plans
  • Provide support to ensure the appropriate accounting entries are recorded at the end of each period and year end with respect to accruals, reserves and prepaid expenses
  • Manage a robust process that is able to proactively provide value add reports and profitability analyses that influence the decision making process of the Consulting process
  • Create and streamline executive friendly financial reporting for period end, forecasts and plan that form the basis of decision making
  • Prepare and present insights based on analyses, key metrics trending and quantified risks and opportunities
  • Create the process to produce a rolling forecast that gathers inputs from the service lines and is benchmarked against relevant comparables but is not bound by system limitations
  • Have sound understanding of the business model, across all service lines
  • Proactively assess and address needs of the business leaders
  • Participate as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in firm wide Finance & Operations initiatives, fostering integration and collaboration across regions and services
  • Management and coaching of other members of the team into effective high performance team


External Posting Qualifications


  • Exceptional ability to build strong working relationships and be viewed as a valued business advisor;
  • Strong business and finance acumen and demonstrated ability to draw insights from information and convey complex information in a straightforward manner.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance with a finance designation (CPA) and/or MBA or current enrollment in a professional designation program
  • 6 plus years of progressive experience in a finance role in a fast paced, demanding environment as a valued business advisor;
  • Management and leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor and train members of our financial team into effective high performance team members
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite of Office Products (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Aderant CMS and Hyperion
  • Strong interpersonal skills, logical and efficient, with keen attention to detail
  • Proven ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Strong organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to prioritize work in a demanding environment
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment in interpreting firm policies and objectives
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Client focused, proactive and results-oriented
