This will be a market-facing role for potential client opportunities; included but not limited to, calling & meeting clients, discussing client needs, and finding an appropriate solution. You’ll prepare proposals and work with internal ctrl teams efficiently to execute client service delivery, build and own relationships with ctrl clients and deliver on advisory, analytics and year-end work. You’ll leverage class leading cloud accounting software along with Deloitte’s digital platform to enhance the client experience, and find efficiencies in work flows using Deloitte developed and third party software.
We are looking to hire a Manager to work within our Accounting Services Group and support the ctrl team at Deloitte. This group is growing rapidly and we look forward to adding to this dynamic team. The ctrl group collaborates with client delivery teams across the country to carry out tasks required to complete cloud accounting services for small and medium private clients in various business sectors. A one-stop shop that offers client services at a fixed monthly price.

You are someone with:
- 4-7 years of relevant experience in financial accounting, including people management experience; comfortable managing a virtual team
- CPA designation or equivalent is required, completed post graduate degree or equivalent
- Possess excellent understanding of accounting principles (ASPE) and tax compliance and possess advanced accounting skills
- Superior verbal and written communication skills, strong understanding of bookkeeping functions
- Excellent computer skills, particularly with a variety a cloud accounting platforms; experienced with project problem diagnosis, solution development, client communications, facilitation of decision making, documentation, managing client expectations and team leadership
