Working closely with the Audit Leads the Learning Specialist will support the execution of Audit technical, industry, professional and/or leadership learning programs, with both a national and regional scope. You will provide guidance and expertise to the team to deliver on learning deployment processes efficiently and accurately. Additionally, you will work with the Leads to ensure alignment and execution of learning strategies to meet the audit practices objectives and to support special projects.  

What will your typical day look like?

 

The Learning Specialist will:

  • Support the execution of the Audit & Assurance learning delivery plan under guidance of the Leads and in collaboration with business stakeholders.
  • Act as the SME for all Audit & Assurance processes and procedures; Annual review and maintenance of Audit processes. 
  • Main point of contact for the Learner Experience Team specifically around Audit processes and the deployment of the audit curriculum. 
  • Perform quality assurance checks on regional rosters, project plans and attendance reporting.
  • Tracking and reporting on learning completions.
  • Support Lead with budget tracking and reporting requirements; Process learning invoices;
  • Anticipate challenges and problem solve in a timely and efficient manner.

You are someone who has:

  • Undergraduate degree or college diploma
  • 1-3 years of learning or project management experience
  • Critical thinker
  • Strong MS Office (particularly in Excel and MS Teams)
  • Strong knowledge with using Zoom
  • Exceptional organization, time management and strong attention to detail
  • Good communication and relationship building skills
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Experienced working with professionals of all levels in a fast-paced environment, often with tight deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks based on relative importance and urgency
  • Self-directed with ability to work autonomously and collaboratively and a focus on results
  • Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset.
