What will your typical day look like?


No two days are the same for a Learning Manager in the Workforce Transformation (WT) team, as unpredictable situations will require you to review your priorities and adapt your approach. That being said, in a typical day, you will:

•    Provide strategic direction on learning advisory, learning technology, and learning design projects,
•    Manage multiple project teams through an organized project plan, internal stand-up meetings and client touchpoints,
•    Provide delivery leadership on all project deliverables (e.g., learning materials, strategy reports, workshops),
•    Appropriately engage senior leadership in decision making,
•    Develop junior team members through ongoing coaching conversations, and
•    Grow the practice through client engagement and sales.

About the team


The Workforce Transformation team is a diverse group of strategic advisors and partners tasked with preparing clients for the future of work. The Learning practice, which sits within Workforce Transformation, specifically focuses on taking a modern and accessible approach to reskilling and upskilling the workforce. You are someone who has:
•    Relevant experience in a Learning & Development role or equivalent. You keep up with trends in the market today and have your own point of view on how learning can be used to resolve the upskilling imperative, and
•    Experience driving learning teams for organizational transformations and
•    Previous professional services / consulting experience.

You are somebody who can:
•    Manage multi priorities and deliver commitments on time,
•    Develop high-performing people and teams through challenging and meaningful opportunities,
•    Manage upwards to coordinate the visions or multiple senior leaders,
•    Deliver exceptional client service by maximizing results and driving high performance from people, while also fostering collaboration across businesses and borders,
•    Influence clients positively- leading by example and establishing confident relationships, and
•    Understand key objectives for clients and Deloitte, and align people to them to set appropriate priorities and direction
