What will your typical day look like?

 

The Global Applications Studio (Team) manages a portfolio of solutions that support Consulting Client Service Delivery, as well as Practice Management capabilities. In Methods and Tools, solutions include Project Management, Process Modeling, Service Management, Delivery Enablement, as well as Estimation. To enable the Consulting practice, the studio supports Global Pricing and Quality Risk Management solutions.

 

Responsibilities:

 

 

  •  Work with Project Leaders to develop full-scale project plans and effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
  • Manage and oversee day to day activities of BSA/QCS team resources and ensure adherence to enterprise standards in project execution methodology, requirements gathering, quality assurance and continuous improvement.
  • Estimate resources (human and other) required to achieve project goals and manage assigned budget throughout execution of project.
  • Identify and resolve issues, risks and conflicts within the project team.
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify possible crises and devise contingency plans.
  • In certain circumstances, operate as Scrum Master for project team, otherwise conduct Scrum of Scrums to ensure delivery in proceeding on schedule
  • Monitor emerging technology trends within assigned product/technology area
  • If applicable, manage relationship and interactions with stakeholder and third-party vendors (software or contractors)

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

 

You are someone with:

 

  • 5+ years of experience in technical project execution/management and/or technology consulting on large enterprise projects
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business or equivalent professional experience or qualifications
  • Advanced proficiency in software development lifecycle methodologies (Agile preferred)
  • Project delivery experience dealing with projects of different sizes
  • Demonstrated experience working with diverse client/stakeholder groups, preferably on a global basis
  • Advanced MS Office experience/capabilities (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Ability to manage concurrent initiatives and use effective judgment in prioritization and time management
  • Proven ability to present materials to senior audiences
  • Excellent analytical/problem solving ability
