Deloitte's Risk Advisory practice advises organizations on how to effectively mitigate risk and make informed and intelligent risk decisions around business processes, technology and operations.  Our Risk Advisory business is expanding as we increasingly are asked to help organizations adapt and respond to new risks and take advantage of new opportunities presented by digital technology and the internet.

Within our Risk Advisory’s Digital and AI (D&AI) team, we have a pool of dedicated Integrated Risk Management (IRM) professionals with expertise in the design and implementation of integrated solutions in several technologies.  We design, implement and provide advisory services over business process and technology controls to manage the risks our clients face on a day-to-day basis and we are seeking to grow the team within the marketplace.

As part of the role, one is expected to collaborate and lead a team of professionals to deliver high quality GRC/IRM solutions to the client.
 

What will your typical day look like?

  • Lead and manage project teams to deliver end to end GRC/IRM projects, ensuring required levels of excellence and alignment with Deloitte’s methodology
  • Deliver program activities including project financial management, release management, handling change requirements, stakeholder management, resource management, steering committee reporting, testing and delivery of end-user training programs
  • Manage and communicate effectively to the client and provide insight to the business challenge
  • Analyze and diagnose client business issues to develop and recommend creative solutions
  • Review and ensure project and internal documentation meet Deloitte’s quality standards
  • Lead effort on designing broader user training programs for internal capability development and client projects
  • Actively work with new and existing clients, become a trusted advisor on GRC/IRM subject matters and deliver high quality output
  • Collaborate with colleagues and strategic third parties to develop and implement existing and new market propositions
  • Lead client proposal development, new services and solutions design and development, and thought leadership initiatives 
  • Manage a diverse team of talented consultants while coaching them to their highest potential

About the team

Our Digital and AI (D&AI) team have dedicated Integrated Risk Management (IRM) professionals with expertise in the design and implementation of integrated solutions in several technologies.  We design, implement and provide advisory services over business process and technology controls to manage the risks our clients face on a day-to-day basis and we are seeking to grow the team within the marketplace.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

  • Hands-on experience in one or more GRC/IRM software (i.e. RSA Archer, ServiceNow, MetricStream, Galvanize, etc.)
  • Demonstrated experience in defining and deploying GRC/IRM implementations 
  • A minimum of 5-6 years of project delivery experience
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a GRC/IRM project manager or architect
  • Must have – at least one (1) or more certifications in Archer and/or ServiceNow IRM or both
  • Working knowledge and expertise of GRC/IRM use-cases/modules (example: policy management, risk management, internal audit, compliance, control testing, cyber security, security operations, business continuity, third-party security)
  • Ability to lead QA and guide user acceptance testing (UAT) tests within projects
  • Strong communication (including report writing), challenging, investigative, influencing, and presentational skills with senior management and in formal committee settings
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills and an ability to make decisions
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize
  • Ability and experience to coach, counsel, and guide other team members
