What will your typical day look like?


You will be responsible for responding to live telephone inquiries on a hotline relating to an application process for an upcoming, confidential program. Our service is offered in both English and French, with coverage from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM EST. We are currently recruiting for English, French and bilingual Applicant Support Analysts for the following shifts and locations:


  1. Atlantic: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM AST, Monday to Friday
  2. Central: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST, Monday to Friday
  3. Western: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM PST, Monday to Friday


Tasks will include:


  • Answering in-bound English or French telephone calls and e-mail inquiries in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Working directly with applicants to answer questions with respect to the application process.
  • Preparing call logs in Salesforce at a high level of detail. 
  • Reviewing submitted program applications for completeness and eligibility criteria.
  • Preparing accurate and up-to-date status tracking spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel.
  • Maintaining confidentiality at all times.


This is an independent contractor position. Contracts will be offered for an initial three months, with the possibility of extension for up to two years for strong performers. All work will be conducted remotely.

You are someone with:


  • A proven ability to work in either English or French. Outstanding candidates will be able to provide services in both English and French.
  • An undergraduate degree from a recognized university or college in a relevant area of study, such as Commerce, Economics, Communications or Journalism.
  • Workplace experience working in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word. Specific experience working in Salesforce would be a bonus.
  • 1+ years of experience working in a customer-facing role, either in person or over the phone. Call centre experience would be a bonus.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to work independently and remotely (in Canada), via a technology-based interface.

Please note that all candidates must pass a Canadian Criminal background check and be willing to undergo additional security clearance processes, as required.
