What will your typical day look like?

 

In FY20, the Chief People and Culture Office (CCPO) developed a Culture and People Strategy for 2023 – a roadmap that will guide enablement the broader firm Category of One strategy by inspiring and empowering our people and delivering “I only could have done it at Deloitte” experiences. Talent Directors create value by understanding the business, implementing people strategies and solutions that support organizational and business-specific objectives, and promoting the right workplace culture and behaviours. They support senior leaders in driving the talent agenda through collaborative trust, employee engagement, leadership effectiveness, and workforce productivity. With this role Talent Directors will have an infrastructure of supporting services delivered through People and Workplace Experience teams and support future expectations for more transformational change.

In this role, you will be accountable for 

  • In the short-term, Talent Directors will work with People Experience to facilitate delivery of services, redirect work, and drive behavior change in line with the new structure
  • Talent Directors will be elevated as executive coaches and integral strategic advisors that sense the business and workforce disruption and drive the people agenda for a specific to a business area
  • Will be supported by Culture People Leaders, that reside within the Business and who will help to amplify the people implications and change management needs that support their business strategy, organizational effectiveness and health, and identifying gaps and outcomes
  • Prioritize the most impactful people initiatives and work with the Business and CEO's to inform program design

The Chief Culture and People Office (CCPO) delivers business-focused, efficient and innovative programs focused on bringing on our “I could have only done it at Deloitte” people promise to life. The transformed CCPO function consists of Business Experience (HR Business Partners), People Experience (HR Operations) and an agile Workplace Experience Centre of Expertise (CoE), supported by dedicated: Learning & Development; Partner & Alumni; Diversity, Equity & Inclusion; Digital & Data; and, Culture & Change functions. Together these teams bring a diverse set of capabilities to create a fundamentally different talent experience that is powered by digital, data-driven, employee-centric, leading practice, and enabled from the centre.

You are someone who has expertise in the following areas:

  • 15+ of progressive HR /business experience demonstrating knowledge of all functions of human resources including succession planning, compensation, recruitment strategy and the ability to effectively leverage centres of expertise to meet business requirements
  • Experienced in driving change in an organization and fostering strong relationships with senior stakeholders across a specific service line
  • Focus on people plans and support future expectations for additional transformation change
  • Strategic thinking
  • Driving insights through data & analytics
  • Ability to work effectively in a highly complex and matrixed partnership
