Support the team across a wide range of Global Ethics program management and related activities, working with Deloitte member firms and Global SMEs to deliver effective and proactive ethics programs. The selected candidate will work with member firm Ethics Officers and other Deloitte Global professionals, and will take responsibility for the management of several annual compliance programs, as well as developing new tools and materials. Additionally they will play a leading role in the implementation of the ethics program for Deloitte Global professionals, supporting them in understanding expectations for conduct and making the best ethical choices, and building an environment where they feel comfortable in consulting and speaking up. This individual should be a strong contributor with the ability to work independently, strong communications and organizational skills, and a desire to make a positive impact for Deloitte professionals around the world.

 

Role Specific Responsibilities:

 

  • Day to day execution on the design, build, implementation and continuous improvement of innovative solutions to sustain and build Global and member firm ethical culture, and measure/report on progress, performance, and impact relative to the global ethics agenda.
  • Day to day execution of a proactive ethics program for Deloitte Global, based on leading practices
  • Assist with project management office, including: oversight of project status, ensuring project milestones are met, capture program reporting, budgeting, and monitoring to keep projects on schedule
  • Interact with senior leaders, shape and execute analyses, and prepare clear, concise, and compelling reports and presentations for senior leadership
  • Responsible for a broad array of activities that may include planning/organizing stakeholder calls, webinars, meetings, etc.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

We advise on regulatory, claims, and corporate legal matters, and other matters that may pose novel or unique issues.

You are someone with:

 

  • Bachelor's degree required, Advanced degree preferred
  • Candidate must have minimum of 5 years of relevant experience within a professional services or multinational corporation, with one or more years as a manager
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Organizational and PMO skills and ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals from different countries and cultures as well as ability to communicate and engage with stakeholders on the ethics agenda
  • Exceptional problem solving skills and experience in generating ideas and leading projects from conception to delivery
  • Detail oriented
  • Team oriented
  • Advanced capability with Microsoft Office suite, specifically with Excel and PowerPoint
  • A risk management or culture-driving/change background is preferred (including experience in Ethics and Compliance, Quality and Risk Management, Anti-Corruption, or similar); experience in evaluating and strengthening organizational culture would be beneficial
  • Comfortable working in an unstructured environment, experience in managing projects with limited direction, and ability to work well under pressure
  • Ability to work independently and be self-directed and responsive
  • Experience/skills in data analysis and reporting preferred
  • Collegial team player who can work with a small team within a global, matrixed environment
  • Diplomacy and poise are key attributes for success
  • Experience preparing and making presentations to senior management
  • Ability to predict and respond to senior leadership requests/needs
  • Occasional travel (less than 10%) required
