What will your typical day look like?

 

The role will work with other managers within the Strategic Initiatives & Analytics team to lead this workstream within Global Delivery Network, which plays a critical role in:

 

  • Leading the design, expansion, and operationalization of the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) capability, developed in the context of the Globalizing Consulting initiative
  • The S&OP capability aims at devising a new demand planning process and tool to enhance visibility over the capabilities required to deliver Deloitte’s Global Refuse to Lose, Global Strategic, Global Targeted and MF-Priority deals across multiple Focus Areas /
  • Offerings (SAP, Cloud, Oracle, Operate, Salesforce, Workday, etc.)
  • Expanding the functionality of the demand planning process by integrating the Anaplan platform with STAFFIT and Jupiter

 

Although there will be collaboration with other managers in the workstream on other initiatives, this role is primarily focused on the Sales & Operations (S&OP) capability, including working with the GDN Change & Adoption lead in the development and
implementation of a robust change management and adoption strategy for S&OP. The work of this workstream is complex and will fundamentally change how Consulting (and Deloitte/other businesses) plans resource demand in the future.

 

  • Refining the strategic narrative and the business case at support of the scaling and the capability growth of the Global Delivery Network
  • Providing oversight to the development of a quarterly reporting process to measure the operational performance of Delivery Centers part of the Global Delivery Network
  • Ensuring the logic, accuracy, and appropriate scope of strategic and and benchmarking analyses and their synthesis into clear and concise reports, for executive review
  • Developing analytical frameworks and executive-level presentations to achieve buy-in of new initiatives and strategic recommendations

 

The role will be required to develop effective cross-functional relationships in a multi-stakeholder environment across multiple geographies. He/she will interact on a regular basis with key stakeholders in the Delivery Centers, in the Member Firms and with Global leaders to drive implementation of key initiatives and promote GDN adoption. Enough about us, let’s talk about you

 

You are someone with:

 

  • MBA or equivalent Masters degree
  • 5 – 10+ years of experience in strategy & operations or financial advisory in a top tier consulting firm or within a strategic planning/corporate development function in a global organization
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong proficiency in building strategic narratives through PowerPoint
    • Strong experience with financial modeling in Microsoft Excel
    • Experience in managing work and project documentation in Microsoft Teams
    • Experience with Tableau or Anaplan, will be considered a plus
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate quantitative and qualitative analyses into clear and concise business narratives
  • Outstanding research and analytical skills: ability to manage and develop junior practitioners in synthesizing large sets of data and surface meaningful insights and recommendations
  • Advanced project management skills
  • Advanced attention to detail
  • Passion for promoting a more inclusive and collaborative team’s environment through mentorship and sponsorship of teams of at least of 5 resources
  • Ability to comfortably work in a global, multi workstream, matrixed environment
  • High degree of endurance and flexibility to work through multiple iterations of work and quickly manage changing priorities and diverse subject matters
  • Ability to deliver under pressure and provide informed responses to leadership in short timeframes
  • Ability to handle sensitive leadership information with utmost confidentiality
  • High degree of comfort working in an unstructured environment that requires solving complex, open-ended issues with incomplete data and little direction
  • High degree of self-confidence, poise, maturity, discretion, diplomacy and empathy
