Experienced Manager, Risk Advisory Quality and Risk Management (QRM) team

Interested in working with leaders and broadening your skillset?  Want to learn more about the Risk Advisory (RA) practice, quality and risk management and internal business processes?  An opportunity to apply your risk management knowledge and help manage the quality and risk of the Canadian RA practice awaits!  The role starts June 1, 2019, with a transition period. Quality and risk management in RA Canada is at an exciting juncture.  With the maturing of our policy compliance processes, the focus is now on building QRM processes throughout the engagement lifecycle, from pursuit to file closure, and embedding it into the culture.  Building and developing these processes is seen as a key value driver to our business – increasing quality, engagement recoveries and reducing the risk of engagement failures are all key components of our RA growth strategy.

The Manager will be supporting the RA Quality & Risk Leader (QRL) Karen O’Brien, in policy and process implementation and monitoring, risk-related consultations, promotion of the continued importance of quality and risk management and practice review administration, with day-to-day direct reporting to the RA QRM Director, Linda Sze. There is an option for a two-year secondment opportunity. The preferred location would be Toronto for purposes of working closely with the QRM Director and other RA National team members, but we are open to candidates based in other regions.

Your role as a manager at Deloitte:
