What will your typical day look like?

As a member of the team that supports executive search activities for the firm, you will drive executive level research activities including market mapping, competitive analysis, candidate sourcing and pipelining. You will work with executive search team members and leaders across the firm to gain a deep understanding of their practice and advise of execute research strategies. Diversity and inclusion will be at the core of your research strategies. You will conduct outreach to potential leaders and document candidate mapping and candidate progress.

Deloitte is a dynamic, fast paced and matrixed organization. This role reports into the Executive Search Lead and is part of a strategic and focused team which offers executive search and broader talent solutions.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

You are someone with:

  • 5+ years of experience in a professional executive sourcing and research position
  • Demonstrated experience working with executive level stakeholders and fostering strong (internal and/or external) relationships
  • Exceptional research skills and significant experience managing multiple requests in a fast-paced environment while effectively prioritizing and maintaining a high level of detail
  • Proven advisory experience driving processes, research strategies, identifying target companies and providing competitive intelligence to senior stakeholders
  • Proven track record of utilizing effective screening techniques and exercising sound judgement based on experience and current market trends.
  • Ability to identify and leverage online research tools, sources and other creative sourcing solutions.
  • Ability to extract insights and observations from large sources of data and provide clear reporting back to the executive search and leadership team
  • Ability to navigate relationships at every level within the Deloitte network to foster collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Demonstrates agility and strives to find better ways to deliver on objectives.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills.
