What will your typical day look like?


Work you will do:


  • Design innovative solutions for clients using cutting-edge learning technology
  • Collaborate to develop the Digital Learning Strategy and drive the execution of the strategy
  • Enhance the GC Learning Technology Stack; conduct research to know new learning technologies; understand how competitors and others in Deloitte are using existing technology; bring insights and ideas back to the team to enhance capabilities in digital learning
  • Guide and coach the work of the Digital Development team
  • Instructional Design: Assist clients with content curation designing content for specified modality (e-learning, webinar, podcast, video, etc.); guide clients to understand learning technology specifications and limitations including assessments, evaluation, badging and reporting
  • Manage a portfolio of high-priority client programs that are in various phases of design or development; work closely with the Lead Learning Advisor, the stakeholders, learning enablers (vendors, CoRe Creative Services, Saba Team, Learning Design Services, etc.) and the Digital Development team to ensure all highpriority programs meet client expectations for quality and timeliness
  • Determine criteria used to gauge learner performance and develop assessment instruments
  • Act as a team member and representative of the GC Learning Team to support or lead special projects within the team, and participate in project workstreams outside the team

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

You are someone with:


  • College degree and 9+ yrs experience in a learning/training role designing and developing learning
  • A proactive, self-motivated and demonstrated ability to work independently and virtually with minimal guidance. Strong attention to detail. Ability to deal with ambiguity, and proactively address change in direction and friction points
  • Strong project management and stakeholder management skills
  • Consultative and advisory skills – ability to collaborate with clients/stakeholders on the assessment, design, development and delivery of innovative and effective learning and performance solutions that align with the strategic business needs of the organization
  • Proficiency with learning technology: Articulate Studio, Storyline, Camtasia, Captivate, GOMO, etc.
  • Learning industry knowledge of technology tools to develop and deploy cutting edge learning programs and experiences
  • A strong foundation in adult learning theory, Deloitte’s 4E Continuous Learning Model and instructional systems design, and experience with advanced learning methodologies, frameworks, technologies and the use of social media to produce behavior change and performance results
  • Experience collaborating with vendors (US and offshore) and managing vendor relationships
  • Strong verbal, written communication & presentation skills
  • Strong project management skills and decision making around feasibility with the time/cost/quality factors
  • Solid PC skills with expert proficiency in MS Office – specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint
