What will your typical day look like?



Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited (Deloitte Global) provides services to Deloitte member firms across the globe. DTTL personnel work on complex business projects that connect and serve Deloitte member firm practitioners across the world. The Global Pursuit CoE (PCoE) is a DTTL Center of Excellence within Global Risk Advisory that enables member firm account teams to identify, shape, win and monitor the most significant opportunities at our most strategic accounts.


The PCoE is currently searching for a commercial strategist who will be a key member of a specialized global Cyber Deal Team responsible for driving sales and pursuit activities for Cyber. Specifically, the commercial strategist will play a key role in advising pursuit teams on how to structure commercially-compelling offers for our most important Cyber targets at Deloitte, with a particular focus on operate deals. This role will have the opportunity to have a significant impact in the growth of Deloitte’s global Cyber business.




  • Team with other Cyber Deal Team professionals and client service bid teams in the Cyber business in their targeting and pursuit efforts, providing hands-on support throughout the deal lifecycle
  • Deal pricing and structuring
    •  Work with geographically diverse pursuit teams to price/structure cyber deals to maximize win rates, quality and profitability
    •  Provide advice on deal structuring options that consider geographical competencies and labor rates, delivery center leverage models and engagement staffing mixes that drive profitability, quality and pricing competitiveness
  • Support growth of our ‘Operate Services’ portfolio through innovative and competitive pricing/deal structuring
    • Enabling marketplace wins
  • Provide commercial and cross-border pricing coaching and support
  • Create deal modeling tools to allow teams to evaluate alternate pricing and delivery models
  • Establish/initiate pricing analytics for deriving insights from historical wins and losses and competitive intelligence
  • Develop training content and facilitate trainings on commercial strategies and delivery constructs
    •  Alternative pricing strategies
  • Be knowledgeable on special pricing constructs
  • Serve as a global resource for counsel on commercial options and leading practices

You are someone with:


  • Extensive experience with various types of pricing constructs and delivery models
  • Experience developing tools and analytics to evaluate pricing models and gain insights
  • Experience coaching and challenging senior teams on pricing and deal structuring, with demonstrable track-record of influencing outcomes
  • Technical or strong business development background in Cyber
  • Experience in driving sales activities across the full lifecycle of a deal
  • Strategic, commercial-oriented thinker
  • Extremely strong interpersonal skills
  • An ability to be flexible and adapt to new methods and ideas, attention to detail, pro-active, collaborative, team player, diplomacy
  • Understanding of business dynamics including brand, business functions, regions, cultural differences, industries etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize activities and stay focused in a dynamic, ever-changing environment
  • Willingness to travel (up to 50%) to work on-site with pursuit teams as needed
