What will your typical day look like?


As part of the Core Business Operations Consulting practice, you will help optimize clients’ business operations and help them take advantage of new technologies. You will be a part of engagement teams that drive product and service innovation, improve financial performance, accelerate speed to market, and operate client platforms to innovate continuously.

 

You will work on collaborative teams with responsibilities that range from analyzing client issues and interviewing key personnel to developing recommendations and authoring presentations.

About the team


The Core Business Operations practice includes four distinct offerings:
 

Our Operations Transformation practice advises, shapes, and brings to life strategies and programs that transform core business operations in each of the following industries: Financial Services, Retail, Energy & Resources, and the Public Sector.
 

Our Systems Engineering practice drives technological change to support our clients through large scale organizational transformations across multiple industries. We design, implement, and operate solutions for custom-developed systems, platform integration, and application modernization to enable core business capabilities. Candidate profile includes experience with one or more of the following: front-end web development, backend or full stack software engineering, low-code/no-code, functional programming, cloud native development, microservices and API development, agile delivery , quality assurance and test automation, program and project management, and emerging technologies such as blockchain.
 

Our Cloud Engineering team enable clients to transform and adopt new ways of working that include cloud adoption, modern delivery with Agile and DevOps, end-to-end business agility, and advanced operational capabilities and practices. Our offerings stretch across people, process and technology to help our clients deliver faster, operate more efficiently, and deliver exceptional customer experiences in today’s competitive market. Candidate profile includes experience with one or more of the following: software development experience and/ or scripting, cloud platforms, technology strategy, Agile practices and methodologies, DevOps and automation, and infrastructure management.
 

Our Industry Solutions group is focused on solving the most complex and massively impactful issues in hypergrowth industries by designing and deploying productized solutions at-scale. We advise and guide clients through transformations, from strategy to execution. Current focus industries are: Banking & Insurance, Healthcare, Higher Education, and Robotics & Intelligent Automation. You’ll be joining a team that comprises leading industry experts, strategists, and technologists. We’re passionate about our industries and are entrepreneurial and product-minded. You’ll play a key role in how we support our clients from defining strategy to designing, building, and operating disruptive industry-leading products and solutions.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you


You are someone who is:

  • Currently enrolled in a Masters/ MBA program graduating in 2020 pursuing Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Business/ Commerce, Economics, Finance, Political Science, or other relevant Degree
  • Able to work within a wide range of industries performing research, data analysis and modeling to solve complex business problems
  • When applying to Systems Engineering, Cloud Engineering and Industry Solutions, experience with technical design and software development are considered an asset.
  • Comfortable working in an ambiguous environment with competing deadlines and rapidly evolving client needs and conditions
  • Able to communicate effectively (both written and verbal) with creative ability to conceptualize and articulate new approaches and solutions.
  • French and English language working proficiency is required for placement at the Montreal office
