What will your typical day look like?

As a Consultant in Service Excellence, you will:

  • Support the development of quality and risk programs, tools and processes created to support leaders and practitioners nationally and globally.
  • Participate and contribute to analyzing and implementing process improvement initiatives and process re-engineering opportunities.
  • Enhance and maintain dashboards and reporting – Support creating innovative ways to report to leadership on Service Excellence performance, key indicators and proactive monitoring of risk.
  • Participate in the creation and implementation of leadership reporting and presentations.
  • Contribute to the creation and development of Service Excellence communications (newsletters, webpages, invites, presentations etc.) and develop innovative ways to create user friendly messaging on quality & risk.
  • Support the strategic agenda and special projects for the Service Excellence group.
  • Support the national coordination, planning and management of various initiatives.
  • Support project planning and management including coordinating with various teams to ensure milestones are met and deliverables achieved.
  • Coordinate and execute Service Excellence training for the Consulting practice with other members of the team and various stakeholders of all levels.
  • Be a team player and provide support on strategic and special projects for the Service Excellence group.
  • Strive to continuously improve & streamline Service Excellence processes to improve the business experience.

About the team

The Service Excellence Consultant will report directly to the Service Excellence Director to provide analytical and operational support to the team and Consulting practice. 

Service Excellence supports the Consulting practice to provide quality & risk advisory and management support services across various stages of the engagement lifecycle from sales to finalizing an engagement, promoting quality and risk standards including methods and tools to achieve delivery excellence.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

You are someone who has/is:

  • 3+ years of related quality and risk working experience
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office with proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel and Word
  • Experience with Tableau and SharePoint will be an asset
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Commitment to quality, process-oriented and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize to achieve deadlines and results
  • Detail oriented and analytical
  • Team player and collaborative
  • Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to work with others effectively in teams
  • Ability to work in a demanding and fast paced environment independently and in a team setting
  • Completed undergraduate degree in Business Management, Commerce or related field
  • Project management experience would be an asset
  • Experience coordinating training/webinars an asset
  • Minimal travel may be required
