Our established Sustainability Practice is looking to continually grow, innovate, and offer quality and insights to our clients. We are looking for a Consultant who wants to be part of a successful business that is constantly setting new standards for distinction.

What will your typical day look like?

As a member of our team, you will:

  • Work with our team within the national Sustainability Practice, with a focus on Social Impact services
  • Support the delivery of successful client engagements, working in diverse projects with multi-disciplinary and integrated teams (at times remotely), and build long-term relationships
  • Support with research, stakeholder engagement and analysis to support client engagements 
  • Develop and present materials to clients and the broader marketplace
  • Support internal and external business development, the development of new service offerings, and thought leadership initiatives
  • Work in a collaborative and diverse team environment to analyze client issues and develop solutions

You will have the opportunity to work on strategy, advisory, assurance, and management system projects in a broad array of sectors including retail and consumer business, energy and resources, financial services, and the public sector. Working with us means that you will be working with a leading sustainability practice in the country and globally.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

We are looking for exceptional and articulate candidates with the following skills, qualifications, and experience:

  • 1-3 years of experience in the non-profit sector, social impact, corporate social responsibility, gender equality, diversity and inclusion, community engagement/investment, and/or human rights
    • Developing and/or executing social impact/community-based programs
    • Developing monitoring and evaluation frameworks 
    • Assessing and evaluating the impact of community-based programs
    • Developing and conducting research and analyzing qualitative data
    • Engaging with community members, including underserved populations
  • Undergraduate degree in a related subject area, such as political science, sociology, international development, global affairs, or human rights; a complementary graduate degree is an asset
  • Interest in and passion for corporate responsibility and sustainable development
  • Understanding of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and social issues in Canada and globally
  • Strong relationship building and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver commitments on time and budget
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, French and Spanish is an asset 
  • Advanced skills in PowerPoint, Excel, and data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, GIS software) is an asset
  • Willingness to travel (up to 10% of total time) within Canada, the United States, and overseas, if required
