What will your typical day look like?

As an Assistant Project Manager within the Project Management Support Network, you will coordinate the successful initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of an audit engagement to deliver a cohesive client experience. You will coordinate integration of non-Audit specialists and component audit teams as required, manage engagement financial contribution and escalate issues to engagement leaders as well as manage and monitor personal independence and identify potential issues.

As an Assistant Project Manager you have a creative mindset, are a self-starter, have demonstrated problem-solving skills and have a strong ability to convey complex thoughts in a clear and efficient manner, both written and oral.

About the team

You will be welcomed into a Canada wide team that manages the integration of the Audit engagement processes with internal Audit support processes, e.g. Milestones, billing, EQCR, etc. They support the development of a project management network, including the identification of best practices and standardization across engagements.

You are someone with:

  • Proven ability to deliver initiatives on time, on schedule, with the required level of quality
  • Strong understanding of core principals of budgeting, pricing, resource management and problem resolution with knowledge of auditing processes as an asset.
  • Experience with project problem diagnosis, solution development, client communications, facilitation of decision making, documentation, managing client expectations, project profitability and team leadership
  • Demonstrated ability to draw key insights from data, and develop creative and fact-based recommendations
  • Advanced Proficiency in MS Office applications; specifically Excel and PowerPoint
