The Financial Crime landscape is continually evolving and becoming increasingly complex for our clients to manage. Rapidly emerging fraud vectors, cyber-attack typologies, and increasing money laundering risks and regulatory pressures leave our clients struggling to respond in a nimble and effective manner, as they battle siloed systems and organizational structures. 

What will your typical day look like?

 

As a Manager you will be involved in three distinct areas:

 

Technical Delivery

  • Design and architect analytics solutions for analyzing large datasets, developing models and analytics tests, and visualizing data
  • Lead technical teams, providing support and guidance as required
  • Work in a collaborative team analyzing client issues and participate in client presentations

Practice Development & Go-to-Market

  • Contribute to practice growth and development, including client engagements and business initiatives
  • Develop a specialization in the Forensic group and act as a business or technical advisor in the area of expertise 
  • Develop relationships with clients and support the scoping, design and development of engagements
  • Coach and mentor team members to their highest potential

Project Management

  • Manage the complete lifecycle of Analytics projects
  • Employ a structured approach to project management to ensure complete client satisfaction and project profitability
  • Ensure risks are monitored and controlled appropriately

Deloitte helps our clients to protect their brand and reputation by proactively advising on their exposure to fraud, corruption, and other financial crime issues. Drawing on our global network of seasoned investigators, intelligence analysts, technologists and advanced analytics, we can quickly and efficiently gain an understanding of our clients’ various Financial Crime exposures. We provide expert advice and solutions to address our clients Financial Crime Management needs across the organization.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you<p>&nbsp;</p>

 

You are someone with:

 

  • Completed a bachelor's degree or master's degree in the preferred concentration in a quantitative discipline such as: Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Quantitative Finance, or other quantitative discipline.
  • 4+ years of professional work experience in consulting or analytics, preferably related to financial crime 
  • 4+ years of experience querying and analyzing large data sets in SQL  
  • Proven experience with SSIS, T-SQL or Alteryx for data transformation and solutioning  
  • At least 3 year of experience designing dashboards in Tableau or PowerBI to deliver analytical insights 
  • Proven experience creating PowerPoint decks and giving presentations to executives and stakeholders 
  • Led file engagements of at least 5-6 team members and supported junior resources throughout an Analytics lifecycle 
  • Led business initiatives and prepared Go-to-Market materials that aligns with the business’s strategy and vision 
  • Project management experience including budgeting, activity tracking and stakeholder communication  
  • Proven experience in design and development of Analytics packages solutions 
  • Proven analytical skills and systematic problem-solving abilities
